Professional Physical Therapy is committed to participating in and supporting the communities we serve. Here are some of the charities and events we’ve contributed to.

Since 2010, Professional has been an active participant in Cycle for Survival, a national movement to raise the money needed to fund lifesaving rare cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
In 2013, Professional Physical Therapy Partner and Regional Clinical Director Tony D’Angelo introduced us to charity: water, an organization dedicated to bringing clean drinking water to people in need around the world. In February 2015, the project which we helped fund was completed, providing a piped water system with tap stands to the Dara Khola community in Nepal.
Professional was involved in the first-ever New York City Crutches4Kids crutch drive, with drop-off locations stationed at our Bayside/Whitestone, Midtown, East Side, West Side, and TriBeCa locations. We collected used crutches, which Crutches4Kids then distributed to children in need around the world.
In 2014, together with Associated Podiatrists of Long Island, our Huntington and Roslyn clinics collected new, used, and well-loved shoes to donate to Soles4Souls, a national organization that distributes shoes and clothing to people in need and creates jobs in poor and disadvantaged communities.
Professional Physical Therapy also participates in a companywide Charity Challenge each year, which supports various national and local philanthropic organizations.
