Scott Donop is one of the Founding Partners of Gold Coast Physical Therapy, which became part of the Professional family in 2014. He graduated from SUNY Brockport where he was an ALL American Baseball Player for the “BROCKPORT GOLDEN EAGLE’S” with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and a minor in Health Science. He also earned his Associates Degree there after from Suffolk Community College, and is currently a New York State Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant with more than 30 years of experience.
Scott played professional baseball in the New York Mets organization and professional baseball internationally as well for two years before returning to the states to attain his degrees. He has played on a five-time National Championship men’s softball team during his amateur career and has since been elected into the Softball Hall of Fame. Scott has successfully coached High School baseball, soccer, and basketball throughout his career.
Scott’s extensive experience with all sports affords him the ability and insight to return even the most competitive athletes of all levels back to their game, and gives him firsthand knowledge on what is necessary to be successful in the sporting world. Scott has treated a wide range of athletes ranging from Weekend Warriors to Professional Athletes with great success, and continues to participates in local, highly competitive softball, basketball and golf leagues.
