Sports Medicine Coordinator
Stacey Taradash (Schreiber) is a Sports Medicine Coordinator at Professional Physical Therapy. She is a NYS licensed and BOC certified Athletic Trainer. Stacey earned her Bachelor’s in Kinesiology/Athletic Training at The Pennsylvania State University and her Masters in Community Health at Hofstra University. She began her career at Professional in 2008 as the Head Athletic Trainer at Calhoun High School, while also working in our Garden City facility. In 2010, she transferred to our Great Neck office, where she served as the Head Athletic Trainer both in the clinic and at Manhasset High School. Prior to joining the staff at Professional Stacey was an Athletic Trainer a Hofstra University, where she worked with wrestling, softball, cross country, and soccer teams. She also had the honor of traveling to Israel with the US delegation to the 2005 Maccabiah Games as the Athletic Trainer for the wrestling and gymnastics teams.
Stacey enjoys working not only with athletes, but with the general orthopedic population as well. Her greatest satisfaction comes from helping her patients achieve their goals and return to the activities that they love. Stacey enjoys educating her patients, but also enjoys learning from them. In addition to her clinical work at Professional, she also serves as a preceptor for the Athletic Training Students at Hofstra University.
