Our Staff
Jeffrey Yellin, DPT, CSCS, USAW: Clinic Director/Partner
Jeff has been with Professional Orthopedic and Sports Physical therapy since 2006 upon completion of his final clinical rotation through Stonybrook University's doctoral program. Jeff started as a staff therapist in the queens office and then moved to the garden city office. Over the course of those years, Jeff became certified as a strength and conditioning specialist through the NSCA, as a sports performance coach through the USAW, as well as a certified ART healthcare provider, which is a form of manual therapy that focuses on soft tissue injuries. Jeff has now risen through the ranks to become partner and clinical director of the new Melville facility, Professional Physical Therapy's first venture into Suffolk county.
In addition to Jeff's commitment to continued education within the field of both physical therapy and sports performance, he has had extensive experience working with patients that range from the sedentary, to the weekend warrior, to the professional athlete in the NHL, MLB, NBA and UFC. Jeff enjoys treating all conditions but has a strong interest on the recovery of the overhead athlete relating to shoulder injuries, both surgical and non-surgical. Jeff is available to treat Monday through Friday in the Melville office.
