Professional Physical Therapy was excellent. I worked with Seth and he helped me rehab an old knee injury that I never fully rehabbed properly that allowed me to get back to running in under 2 months. Everyone at the clinic was friendly Seth did a great job of listening to me, understanding my... goals, and creating a PT program that worked well with those. I have so much more confidence in my knee now and am running pain free again. Would highly recommend!read more

Seth and his team have been terrific. Seth has provided compassionate care by carefully listening to my pain issues; talking me through each stretch or exercise step by step; and providing additional helpful hints to work on at home.I feel very safe in the Alston environment. Equipment and... tables are wiped down and everyone wears a mask.read more

Staff are very knowledgeable, friendly, and flexible to schedule my appointments. They have a variety of equipment, and they also have pretty good TV/music to help pass the time while you are doing your treatments. Best PT experience I have ever had. I would certainly recommend them.

I came in with a calf strain after a summer of running training and the staff here (Seth G) really helped me put together a tailored recovery plan that met my needs. They use a series of online tracking tools that allow you to see your designated exercises and monitor your progress, and are very... responsive to any questions. They also had a really flexible schedule that allowed me to work around my work schedule and even set me up with an appointment at another ProPT office when I was traveling with family. Its a great environment to get back on track (literally), would highly recommendread more

The Professional PT team in Allston exceeded my expectations. They were very flexible and accommodating to my grandfather's needs. Registration was VERY easy as I was able to do it all online. Seth G. is truly very passionate about his work and makes sure that you feel welcomed, comfortable and... satisfied. I've already recommended family members to this office and will continue to.read more

The value is in the follow up! Even after my stint with PT was over Seth still reached out to check on me and see how I was adjusting to being back at work and even offered to assist me if I continued to have issues. I really appreciate that.I've had to do physical therapy on 4 times in my life... and I have never received the kind of service given at PPT. Seth was amazing to work with and wellspring of knowledge and instruction. Even the Admin staff were very helpful and attentive. Thank you for turning a bad situation into a great experience.read more

The Pro PT team really lives up to the name. I've now worked with the team twice (two separate injuries) and have left both times ready for competitive sport. Both Seth, Steve, and the whole staff are empathetic, clear communicators, and great practitioners. While nursing an injury is not terribly... fun, they create a strong community atmosphere, which I've definitely missed during the pandemic.read more

I hope you don't get injured...BUT, if you do, you have to go to Professional Physical Therapy! From day 1, Seth and the team educated me on what's going on with my ankle and made me feel like there was a clear plan to get me healthy ASAP. After 6 weeks, I was discharged today and am really happy... with the progress I've made!In addition to strengthening my ankle, the team made physical therapy FUN each day I showed up! They posted puzzles for us to do during our exercises and chatted with us throughout the sessions. To be honest, I'm actually a little bummed that I no longer have to go to PT because I wish I could keep hanging with the team!read more

The clinic, in Allston, overall is very welcoming! Administrative staff and assistants are very nice! I see Haylie for PT. Her exercises are accommodated to my needs. She also tweaks exercises here and there to make sure I am getting the most out of my time there. She has multiple patients at once... but she listens well to each one. You truly feeling you are getting one on one time. I have been to various PT companies in the past and can say this is the best office I’ve been to!read more

The Professional PT team at Allston was great. From the first phone call they made it easy to set up with an appointment and confirm insurance coverage. At the first appointment Steve, my physical therapist, worked with me to set up a plan to help me meet my goals. I appreciated the explanations... for each exercise and what function they were strengthening. I feel confident I can continue to manage my ankle and prevent injuries in the future.read more

Steve and the team at Professional PT are incredible! I couldn't say enough great things about Steve and his attention to getting me back into exercise and yoga after lower back and hip pain. I'm truly grateful and was always met with friendly (masked) faces each time I was there. I felt safe and... they were always so good about cleaning surfaces and equipment as well during this challenging time. I just wish I had known about Steve and this place when I had shoulder surgery! I feel confident and educated about how to continue on my own after finishing treatment. I don't think I've ever felt this way after leaving PT. Thank you to Steve and the team at Professional PT!-Jennread more

Bio

As a child I was hurt very often as I had a background in many sports but my 2 biggest were as a hurdler in Track and Field and with wrestling. Growing up I had many multiple broken bones, nerve injuries, sprains and strains of muscles and ligaments etc. I was always intrigued by the body's ability to heal itself. I spent a good amount of time in Physical therapy and working with my athletic trainers on recovery. As I moved into high school and college and spent more time around the actual profession, I became energized by the opportunities that it presented. The further I got into PT, the more I loved PT. I continued my education for years after I received my doctorate degree from BU, by completing multiple fellowships in the field of orthopedic manual therapy where I really developed a passion for communication with patients, exercise prescription and manual therapy. I have also found a lot of joy in teaching others and I consistently take multiple PT students from all over and I act as a mentor in the Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy. I continue to look for new opportunities that the field of physical therapy offers and am excited about what the future holds!

Bio

I enjoy using my expertise to help people pursue healthier, more active lifestyles doing what they love. I first became interested in physical therapy while working in the athletic training room during college. It was there I saw firsthand the impact PTs could make on people’s lives by building a therapeutic relationship to achieve a common goal. My treatment style typically consists of an individualized combination of exercise, manual therapy, and education to help empower patients and give them more control over their condition. I enjoy working with all types of orthopedic injuries but am particularly interested in sports-related injury prevention and rehabilitation.
