Hear From Our Patients

James is great to work with. He’s very patient and knowledgeable
Megan K.
I have used Professional PT Arlington twice and have been extremely happy with both experiences. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable and they all work very well together, you can tell it’s a good team, which makes for a fun environment for the patients. The facility is very... clean and every bit of equipment is sprayed and wiped down after each use. Justin at the front desk is excellent, he’s super efficient with scheduling and insurance help. A big thanks to Emily, Steve, Monica, Hannah, Stephen and Justin, (and anyone else I missed) you’ve all helped to make my recovery so successful!! I would highly recommend this facility to anyone needing PT.read more

I spent four months working with James at Professional PT in Arlington following a severe sports-related knee injury/surgery. Recovery from an injury like mine is not always linear, and I was amazed at James's intuition in knowing exactly what I needed during any given session and modifying... appropriately. James is also great at recognizing the individual differences between his patients - for instance, as a young athlete my needs and goals may be different from those of some other patients, and James recognized that and tailored our plan accordingly. And of course, he did an excellent job treating my injury and now I'm back doing the same activities I was before. The atmosphere at the clinic is relaxed and lighthearted, which was exactly what I needed during such a stressful time. I will definitely come back to Professional PT should the need ever arise.read more

This team has expertise that leads to successful outcomes mixed in with warm senses of human that lighten the work. Thank you!

Professional PT in Arlington MA did outstanding work in regards to my hip/sciatica condition. My PT, Emily, helped me through the recovery process by teaching me various exercises in order to mitigate the pain of the injury. Emily and her team were knowledgeable, attentive, and professional during... my therapy sessions. If I need additional care in the future, I'll be sure to reach out to them again.read more

I've seen PTs at several of the clinics over the years for a variety of issues, and had successful treatment every time -- even for issues that other PTs were unable to help (or actually made worse). These folks know what they're doing. Good diagnostic techniques and good therapy protocols. My... only issue is with the back office stuff. Since the original practice was taken over by the Professional PT chain, the billing and customer service functions have been pleasant but they never seem to get anything right. Ever. So go there for the wonderful PT, but expect some weird hassles with the billing.read more

AMAZING! I’ve been going to this place for a few months and it’s UNBELIEVABLE! All staffs are so friendly, attentive and caring. I felt so safe going in there during COVID as everyone kept the place so clean and sanitized every time someone was down using an equipment.
Adalicia R.
Very attentive and professional team. They clean the equipments after you work on them. They listen to you and watch you when you have a problem doing with your exercises and also correct you. This is the second time coming over here They helped me with my Right Shoulder about one and a half year... ago. Then, I hurt my Left Shoulder two and a half months ago and I couldn't improve doing my exercises at home. Finally after I got my covid 19 vaccine I went back so they can help me again. I feel so great every day I go to do my physical therapy here because I feel that I can move more my left arm and finally recovering from my injury in my left shoulder. Thank you team, you are owesome!read more

Such a great group of people who work here. They truly care and take interest in all the patients and make it a great environment to come to. Steve, Monica, Emily and Catey have made my recovery amazingly easy and provided such a familiar and comfortable experience. Recommend to anyone who needs a... really good physical therapy practice.read more

Steve and the team of physical therapists are amazing. I loved the warmth they show to every single person who comes in and how all of us feel so well taken care of. Then, with the love and warmth and safety established, they provide individualized exercises that are so "easy to do" and yet... make such a difference. For me, I came with a back that had me hunched over and my body totally skewed. Now, 4 or 5 weeks later, my back is 98% recovered. I'm walking normally. I can pick things up again and I feel good. I will hold off on chopping wood for a few months. Luckily it just turned spring, so I won't have to till next winter.read more

I am satisfied with Professional PT for therapy services. I was not able to get up right a way due to severe knee pain but cured in 8 weeks. I would highly recommend this place.

Top floor, 3rd, and this is nice. Not huge, but it could feel small if there are a lot of people. All kinds of natural light comes in from windows and skylights. Very nice professional people. They are helping me!!

When I strained a rotator cuff last Winter, the pain was debilitating, and at times it seemed like it was never going to get better. Even simple household tasks had become almost unbearable due to the pain I was in. I am so glad that I made the decision to undergo treatment at Professional Physical... Therapy. Through consistent, twice weekly appointments, the staff worked with me every step of the way to address and treat my injury. Everyone there is friendly, personable, and knowledgeable, and I really got the sense that they truly care. My shoulder pain is virtually non-existent now and I have been able to return to all my regular physical activities, thanks to the help I received from the people at Professional PT. Thank you so much!read more

My therapist Haig and training coach/assistant Emily were great with explaining how they are targeting the issues and correcting me along the way for best results. Facilities were nice, spacious and clean. I... highly recommend this place for your journey in healing process.read more

I've had a love for sports from a young age playing sports like Baseball before my transition to combat sports. After experiencing injuries and going through the rehabilitative process as well as experiencing what being a rehab aide was like, I was convinced physical therapy was the field for me. While health care was what I have been interested in from a young age, the holistic aspect of Physical therapy with exercise being an essential component was the biggest draw compared to other fields. I attended Umass Boston initially with a major in Exercise Health Science and finished my undergraduate career at Umass Amherst with a degree in Kinesiology with Cum Laude distinction. After a hiatus to travel and work, I completed the DPT program at Umass Lowell with an award for Excellence which can be attributed to my work for promoting DEI across the department.
