I just finished rehabbing my shoulder and neck at Professional Physical Therapy after a bad fall and shoulder dislocation last April, and I had an amazing experience. My PT, Steve, was incredible—patient, kind, and extremely knowledgeable.What made the biggest difference for me was how much Steve... understood the compensation patterns that developed after my injury. Over time, my body had adapted in all the wrong ways, and I ended up dealing with a complicated mix of shoulder, neck, and arm issues that became debilitating and affected my daily life. Steve was able to recognize those patterns and gradually help me retrain how my body was moving and functioning.I was in PT for about a year, and throughout that time he constantly adjusted my program based on my progress. If something wasn’t working or felt too difficult, he always had another approach ready. He took the time to explain how each exercise would help, how different areas were compensating for one another, and answered every question I had. You can tell he really knows his stuff and genuinely cares about his patients.I finally feel like I’m breaking out of the neuromuscular and biomechanical “spiral” that developed after the injury, and I honestly feel more normal again than I have in a very long time. As an active 79 year old I’ve had physical therapy numerous times at ProfessionalPT. As I observed while I am there, the other therapist are very good with their patients. When you spend enough time there doing what you have to do for yourself you also get to observe... what goes on. I am a 78-year old male with spinal stenosis. I came to Professional Physical Therapy in October of 2021 to help relieve the pain I was having in a leg and hip. I have used this facility in the past, always with excellent results. Again, I was not disappointed. The check-in staff quickly... learned my name and face, and always quickly got me in my sessions. They are very friendly. My therapists Constance and Tawna explained my condition to me better than my doctor did and guided me through a series of exercises of increasing difficulty. Neil Moss is the boss because.....he's actually the boss but also because he's a damn good physical therapist. HSS surgeons recommend their patients specifically for his services....that's already enough said. Super sharp on his observations and his recommendation/guidance is very practical without... any CYA or superfluous fluff. In mid-May, I came to Professional Physical Therapy with very limited mobility as a result of hip & knee arthritis. I love Professional PT and all the staff especially Neil and Daniella who has always been my therapist. I been a long time customer of Professional I am very sad that they DON'T take my health insurance now and I would have to pay a lot of money out of pocket just to go there which I just can't... afford to do because I am unemployed. I went to another PT office and it just wasn't the same the therapist was horrible and hurt me more. This place is great for a number of reasons. First, everyone is like family here - all the therapists know all the patients and they will assist you even if they're not your assigned therapist. Second, they really work on you here - they don't simply say - "hit the gym and then we'll ice you up."... Third, and most important, they really make you better here.read more
