Professional Physical Therapy in Bayside / Whitestone, NY is a leading provider of Physical Therapy and Hand Therapy in the Queens borough area of New York City.
I do not leave many reviews, but Alyssa from Professional Physical Therapy deserves my time. Why does she deserve my time for a review? Because when she is treating you, no matter how busy , and no matter how many patients she has any given time, she gives you complete, undivided attention, makes... you feel like the most important patient, and is such a detail oriented therapist.I'm almost 3 months out of a significant surgery to my wrist. Alyssa is the Occupational therapist, hand specialist for this location. In such a short period of time, and I credit my therapists persistence and determination, most my fingers and wrist movements are back. There is still more to do and more to do with regaining my strength, but I'm carrying full grocery bags with my damaged hand. I fully credit Alyssa for helping me get to the point where I am this quickly!I strongly would recommend anyone that needs Therapy for a wrist or hand issue, to consider Professional Physical Therapy, and namely the OT Alyssa I'm so thankfully gifted as my therapist. And trust me, I've seen other therapist over the years for other alements. No one and I mean no one have I wanted to give any of my time and share with the world my experiences as i am doingw here.read more

I have been going to physical therapy at Professional PT in Whitestone. I had a severe back injury which completely destroyed my right leg. The physical therapist assigned to me was Eva Ping Li. She was such an unbelievable help for me building my leg back up. I walked in there with a cane and... after my therapy was complete, I walked out without it.Eva was so professional in everything she did for me. She was extremely knowledgeable about what to do for me and my injury. Eva was my little angel. The facility was very clean and everyone is very friendly. The receptionists Rosie, and Brianna were so nice and helpful. I was also helped by Tawna and Phil. This is a great place to go for your physical therapy.Thank you Eva, you are the best!read more

The Physical Therapists are excellent and they really care about their patients. They put a lot of effort into making sure you get a solid routine going and they listen to feedback well and make adjustments depending on how you are feeling and progressing. I have been close to pain free for the... first time in months after going twice a week for a month. The space is very open, and the receptionists are kind. Be prepared to work! I was surprised when my first visit was 90 minutes but they're very thorough.read more

MY experience is Nothing But POSITIVE. From my first day arriving, reception always pleasant, Farrah got my history and the challenges I faced and then my plan was in place. Everyone is so patient and optimistic. Even though I am assigned to one particular person, Everyone always making sure as... they pass by me, checking if OK, or in pain or comfortable. PRICELESS AND APPRECIATED. I can't thank the staff enough for the cheering on and the positive reinforcement. Can't wait to see my progress continue to grow.. definitely would recommend Professional Physical Therapy and I Thank them all.read more

I've been going to Professional Physical Therapy for neck and upper back pain for over a month and the results and overall experience have been excellent. The two therapists I've worked with, Constance and Tawna, are knowledgable, professional and kind. During my sessions they are extremely... attentive and always willing to explain the details and benefits of specific exercises. I've felt an improvement in my mobility and a decrease in pain in a relatively short amount of time. The atmosphere throughout is positive, all the therapists encourage their patients and the front desk staff is helpful and upbeat. The facility is clean and cheerful... and there's good parking! Over the last several years I've been to three different PT clinics in this general area, including Nassau, and Professional Physical Therapy has been by far the most positive experience and has produced the best results. I am grateful and I highly recommend this practice.read more

I have been attending Professional PT for the past two years for both my shoulders and now neck. Farrah is my physical therapist and she is amazing. She has helped me tremendously throughout these years and continues to do so. The entire staff is friendly and helpful as well. When Farrah is not... available I trust the other therapists to work on me in her absence. I also feel safe being treated at this facility as they are very clean and use proper sanitizing protocols prior to and throughout the pandemic. If you are looking for PT/OT I would highly recommend this office.read more

I am a 78-year old male with spinal stenosis. I came to Professional Physical Therapy in October of 2021 to help relieve the pain I was having in a leg and hip. I have used this facility in the past, always with excellent results. Again, I was not disappointed. The check-in staff quickly... learned my name and face, and always quickly got me in my sessions. They are very friendly. My therapists Constance and Tawna explained my condition to me better than my doctor did and guided me through a series of exercises of increasing difficulty. They were assisted by others including Phil and Ondress who were extraordinarily helpful. The physical plant is large, up-to-date, and clean. Parking is off-street and plentiful. I could not feel more positive about my experience.read more

Neil Moss is the boss because.....he's actually the boss but also because he's a damn good physical therapist. HSS surgeons recommend their patients specifically for his services....that's already enough said. Super sharp on his observations and his recommendation/guidance is very practical without... any CYA or superfluous fluff. Definitely felt confident if I followed his program for my leg injury, I'd rehab myself back to normal. Also good sense of humor and fun guy to have banter with. Ok Neil where's my money (just kidding!) but in all honesty this entire clinic deserves a lot of recognition. Front office staff very welcoming, and rest of the therapists do truly care about your health and recovery. Also shout out to Kent Ye - super attentive and hard working professional. The clinic follows sound covid policies with masks and wiping down machines after every use so you don't have to worry about bringing covid back home to family. They are very popular, with good reason, but in my experience scheduling is still very flexible around my full time job. Equipment is adequate with essentials required for rehab. Highly recommend for anyone that wants to work with a clinic that aligns their efforts with your best interests. You guys are amazing!read more

I have been taking my 13 year old daughter here who has complex medical needs for rehab on her broken foot. All the staff members are great and the facility itself is clean and well maintained. She has been working with Neil, particularly, who is always amazing with her! Neil consistently provides... a safe and warm experience. She trusts him implicitly and is not afraid to complete any of the exercises. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable and makes therapy fun! In mid-May, I came to Professional Physical Therapy with very limited mobility as a result of hip & knee arthritis. Now, after 3 months of twice a week sessions, I've regained so much of my mobility enabling me to resume my walks, unimpeded.I give so many thanks to the therapist with whom I... worked, Chris Yan. From the initial intake session, he put me on a program which addressed my weaknesses that were contributing to my condition. And, in every session, he devoted much time and attention to ensure that I was properly doing each exercise. Chris was always concerned, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. In addition to Chris, other staff members (Tawna, Will, Patrick, Kevin, Madison and others whose names I have forgotten or never learned) were always attentive, friendly and helpful which contributed to a safe environment which was conducive to healing.I highly recommend this Whitestone location and hope that you also findit improves whatever ails you. And, I want to also give praise to the administrative staff which is always knowledgeable, friendly and efficient.read more

The therapists really listen. They will adjust your services depending on your feedback. They are good about keeping to the schedule. Very comfortable place. They are great about following COVID-19 safety measures. They are constantly wiping the tables and machines down. I have been here 3... different times and each therapist was professional and listened to my input. They give you exercises you can do at home to strengthen your core as well as the area that is troublesome.read more

I love Professional PT and all the staff especially Neil and Daniella who has always been my therapist. I been a long time customer of Professional I am very sad that they DON'T take my health insurance now and I would have to pay a lot of money out of pocket just to go there which I just can't... afford to do because I am unemployed. I went to another PT office and it just wasn't the same the therapist was horrible and hurt me more. I REALLY WISH I could go to my favorite place Professional PT I do Highly recommend this place if you need Physical Therapy. You won't be disappointed.read more

This place is great for a number of reasons. First, everyone is like family here - all the therapists know all the patients and they will assist you even if they're not your assigned therapist. Second, they really work on you here - they don't simply say - "hit the gym and then we'll ice you up."... Third, and most important, they really make you better here.read more
