This is my first experience with a physical therapist. Hector at Professional Physical Therapy is very professional and patient. He curves my exercises to my needs, makes sure I am comfortable with each exercise, and challenges me when needed. Great place for rehabilitation!

I have never had PT before and couldn’t be more pleased. The knowledge and compassion and kindness in Abigail Newman is outstanding. She listened to everything intently and provides confidence and support. She could handle multiple patients at once and you never felt that she was deserting you. She... was not overbearing and treated her co workers kindly as well. She is a great asset to your organization. Nicole, the student intern, was also kind and helpful and knowledgeable and would be an asset as well. Zach was extremely pleasant and completed all his tasks happily. Overall I give it an OUTSTANDING, WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMENDread more

I was treated for about two months, twice a week for numbness/pain in my arm/hand and shoulder. I'm feeling way better now and was given techniques and exercises to strengthen and use when I do have issues. The Bernardsville location was clean, easy to get to, and not busy. I was able to be seen... during COVID and Professional Physical Therapy took excellent measures to make sure I felt safe. Alex Bua was very professional, caring and thorough. His office team was organized and easy to contact. I'm very happy to have been treated at this location by Alex and will use Professional Physical Therapy as a resource. Thank you!!read more

Bio

My path to physical therapy as a career began with a hand injury that made me a patient back in high school. After discharge, I volunteered with my therapist which gave me more of an appreciation towards what goes on behind the scenes. In college, I held multiple physical therapy aide jobs to immerse myself in the field and get to know different settings. After graduating with a B.S. in Exercise Science, I worked as a personal trainer and was able to work with people of all walks of life with a special interest in return to sport. I returned to school and earned my doctorate in 2015 where I worked for Professional in NYC before moving back to NJ. I am American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) credentialed as a clinical instructor and I plan to sit/earn my OCS next year.
