Everyone at PPT is amazing. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and interested in your overall well being. They take an interest not only in what hurts or needs to be fixed but also in understanding you and your goals in order to help you reach them. I am so grateful to have found them and can truly say... they are a critical part of the team helping me run my first marathon.read more

I was referred to professional physical therapy just about 2 years ago for a neck and shoulder injury. I had been treated previously for years by multiple other physical therapists and never saw any sustainable improvements in pain or strength. 2 years later after working with Keith, I am out of... chronic pain and have made sustainable improvements in strength and mobility. This is in huge part due to Keith! He has advocated for me as a patient and helped and supported me through deciding to have a SLAP repair on my left shoulder after PT failed. Also helped me decided to have a nerve ablation procedure in c3-c5 after PT failed. When PT didn’t improve my symptoms, Keith was always in constant contact with my orthopedic and neck doctors to let them know my progress and figure out next steps. I completed PT after both procedures and regained strength and mobility to 100 percent. Previous physical therapists wiped their hands and said there was nothing more they could do to help me after physical therapy didn’t work. Keith went above and beyond to figure out the next intervention with my medical team. Keith knows his stuff and is hands down the best PT i have ever worked with. I will go back to professional physical therapy and work with Keith for any future injuries and highly highly recommend him or any of the other pts!Keith was always available by phone or email for questions or concerns outside of my scheduled appointments. The rest of the staff at professional physical therapy are also amazing! From the front desk employees to the rest of the physical therapists- they are all five star wonderful people to work with and make rehab fun and enjoyable! CAnt say enough positive things about them- highly highly recommend!!read more

After a total shoulder replacement I spent 5 months doing PT with Chris. My experience was excellent - I would highly recommend him!! I was actually a month ahead of "schedule" on rehab. The office staff was friendly and easy to deal with - a true 5 star review!

I reached out to Professional Physical Therapy after reading reviews, and I can happily and easily say I am very pleased that I did! From my initial intake appointment at the end of January to my final session at the end of April, there have been massive improvements that have allowed me to get... back to the gym after a five month hiatus. Now, who did I see? If you're looking for someone who will take the time to listen to your concerns, physical restrictions/triggers and difficulties of your injured area (even if what you're saying doesn't even make sense to you, which often times was my case), Chris is you person! He will ease you into your in-person and at-home routines, and through this gradual build-up you will notice your strength/endurance/muscle fatigue has improved. Chris also excels in what I'll call PT trickery, which gets major points. Can you do this? Does this dumbbell or medicine ball help with the movement or balance? Great, now you've added weight (improvement: check) and here is the rep scheme. Boom. Trickery at its finest, and you can only be impressed when you realize you can do it without issue!I definitely recommend Professional Physical Therapy- the whole staff is great! You won't be disappointed :)read more

Highly recommend Professional Physical Therapy. Chris helped me re-gain the motion in my neck that I've struggled with due to pain for some time now. He worked with me to figure out solutions outside of our sessions to improve including exercises that fit into my every day schedule. During our... visits we focused on exercises that I realistically would do outside of PT as well, rather than only exercises I would do while there. In doing this, he enabled me to progress beyond our appointments.! The staff and environment made going to PT much more enjoyable as well.!read more

I’ve seen them for two unrelated injuries, and I’ve been extremely impressed each time. The therapists know their field, and really work with patients to devise an effective treatment program. Both therapists and support staff are friendly, fun, and flexible.

I had to go to PT after experiencing an injury in my left rotator cuff- I'd never done PT before so I didn't know what to expect. I was excited to find out that it involved a lot of equipment and stretches that I was familiar with when working out with my trainer, and so I could easily relate and... understand HOW it would help me :) I stuck to their program, doing the exercises and stretches at home (so important!) and was encouraged not to baby my injury, which is something I was tempted to do at the beginning since my pain was still there. And I finished up in a month, which was the goal that I set for myself! They people here are GREAT, easy to talk to, make you feel super comfortable and they listen to what you're saying about pain level and mobility restriction. They were also super flexible and understanding when I had an issue at work and had to cancel one of my appointments- Would DEF recommend to anyone who needs to start PT!!!read more

This has been my 3rd round of rehab for various injuries over the years and my 1st experience with Professional PT. I can easily say Keith and staff are wonderful. The entire team were extremely professional and effective. Over my 10+ weeks of therapy I made steady progress. Keith and staff... were very accommodating handling slight setbacks appropriately. At the same time pushing me further as I gain strength. On top of it all a warm and welcoming staff that made therapy fun! I would highly recommend Professional PT to anyone.read more

Joe was my PT. He was really fantastic in dictating the plan for my recovery and helping me execute it. The rest of the staff also helped here and there and I had a pleasant experience with everyone. Great place to get the help you may need!

As of today, I have been discharged from Professional Physical Therapy and my time there has been nothing short of amazing! I fractured my ankle in the beginning of October, my first experience breaking a bone, and I could not have chosen a better atmosphere to recover in. I had the pleasure of... working with Joe these past 3 months and he is an absolute delight; very knowledgeable, patient, collaborative, kind, and has the most infectious energy. I looked forward to PT! From day one, Joe devised a program for me that was unique to my lifestyle, hobbies, and passions and it evolved with my injury's progression. Each day, I noticed small victories and even during the times of immense pain or when my confidence was at its lowest, Joe assured me that with consistency and repetition, life would get easier one day at a time. I walked in there with crutches, a boot, and an ankle the size of a tennis ball and now I have the strength and knowledge to continue on with my fitness endeavors and to enjoy the simple pleasures of day to day life. I've learned a lot about myself and I am so incredibly grateful to the entire Professional Physical Therapy staff for their warmth, jokes, professionalism, and optimism during such a frustrating chapter in my life. Whether it is your first injury or your thirtieth, I strongly recommend Professional PT. You won't find a better team to aid you in your journey!! Thank you Joe and Pro PT!!!~ Maddie :)read more

I went to Professional Physical Therapy for approximately 10 weeks due to lower back issues. I had the pleasure of working with Chris and Keith. Both were extremely knowledgeable and provided a customized exercise program to complete at the clinic, as well as at home. If I had Chris during one... session and Keith for the next session, it was clear that they had always spoken to each other about my care and exercise needs. I went from being unable to stand or sit for even short periods of time to moving around freely with no discomfort by the end of my therapy. It has been 2 months since my discharge and I continue to feel strong and flexible. When I do have an unexpected twinge in my lower back, I immediately revert back to Chris reminding me how to deal with this. It works every time! I strongly recommend Professional PT to anyone in need of such services. Wendy E.read more

Beverly Professional Therapy is easily located at the Cummings Center in Beverly. They follow all Covid-19 protocols which was important to me. I felt very safe. My therapist, Chris is knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He evaluated my shoulder injury and developed a personalized plan for... me. My treatment plan consisted of exercises to do at home and in clinic with Chris. I am thrilled to have regained my strength and flexibility. Grateful to Chris and all of the Professional Physical Therapy team. I would highly recommend them.read more

This is the second time I've been to Professional PT and I always appreciate the knowledge and thoughtfulness that comes with every visit. Having been to MANY PT clinics what I like the most about this place is the level of personalized attention with each visit. No sitting around with a bag of... ice waiting to do some exercise, they get right to it assessing your progress and helping you get better one step at a time. And there's usually a lot of humor to go around which can make it easier.read more

I was having shoulder issues that I was convinced couldn't be alleviated because I'm approaching 50 (as my x-ray attested), but I sought out PT to at least learn a path to help cope or work with with the pain. Chris was my PT, and rather than just keep trying the same regimen over and over with the... hope it all just works out, he instead asked a lot of questions in each session and often incorporated something new into my routine. Pain is difficult to explain and quantify, and Chris's theories on it were pretty eye-opening. As I told him, I'm convinced that someday he will write a sports medicine book for the layman, and he should. As the other reviews attested, all of the staff were a joy to be around, and although true that humor is abundant, it is readily apparent that they take what they do very seriously. In truth, I will actually miss seeing them all every week: Olivia is is clearly the glue and I will miss our chats; Keith who is the shop foreperson of sorts whose self-deprecation is a constant source of amusement; and Chris, my PT who is responsible for undoing years' worth of shoulder pain and also just a great person with whom to trade stories. Bravo, everyone. Scheduling was very convenient as they were able to accommodate any time I requested. I hope I never have to use PT again, but if I ever do, there is no other choice for me--they're the one.I should also add that these sessions were during the time of COVID, and the entire office was fantastic about absolutely everything being sanitized at all times and protocol overall. It's an incredibly safe environment.read more

I saw Keith at Beverly Pro PT and he was really supportive, helpful and accommodating to my individual needs. He explained things in a way I could understand and I was pain free in about 1 month! Now, I feel like I have the knowledge and tools to stay healthy.

Responsive, professional, attentive. Chris created a effective plan tailored to my needs and expectations that was easy to follow. He got me back on my feet and active ASAP. Would have taken me a lot longer to get there on my own.
