I have a very bad back spasm that has taken over my life and I’m glad to say I’ve come here! Ghilene is absolutely amazing, she makes you feel comfortable while being there and is VERY patient. She truly does her best to understand the pain and figure out what’s best for the injury. I’ve met... another PT and she was helpful as well. Also love the receptionist, has already remembered my difficult name lol and makes walking in every time comfortable. She definitely does have great energy and puts a smile on my face with every greeting! I’ve had only few sessions so far, but I have been very happy with them and will continue to come here! Great environment, I leave feeling bit better than what I walked in feeling originally :)read more

The front desk staff are very pleasant and helpful. The facility is neat, clean and has nice views. Although they have all of the equipment that you would expect, I especially like that the exercise routine Alex created for me doesn't rely on the use of machines – I can do it all at home! And their... app is loaded with my exercises, showing all the info I need and a video to work along with. I am on the mend and recommend this PT practice.read more

Bio

Helping others is a theme threaded throughout my life. When I was younger I lived with my grandparents and saw first-hand how
function related to aging. Helping them as their function declined was second nature. As I got older I gradually started to get more
involved with helping the elderly community and those with disabilities. I volunteered throughout junior high and high school delivering
meals to home bound seniors and raising awareness for people with disabilities. Everything clicked for me when I tore my hamstrings
in high school and went to PT for rehab. I realized this is where I could put everything I had already loved into a profession I was
passionate about. I began volunteering in PT clinics and eventually attended the University of Pittsburgh where I had rotations at the
Veteran’s Affairs, The Birmingham Free Clinic, and various other inpatient and outpatient clinics. I also became a team leader
overseeing the incorporation of health and wellness into lesson plans aimed at young girls to raise self-esteem and positively influence
lives. Lastly I worked as a home health aide assisting a young girl with disabilities with her activities of daily living. After graduating in
2020 I joined the Professional Physical Therapy team and began my career as a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
