Rick Rutkowski, DPT has been a licensed physical therapist for over 30 years. He graduated from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY with his clinical doctorate degree and went on to do a 4 month sports medicine fellowship with Healthsouth Rehabilitation Corporation. During that time, he observed advanced surgical and rehabilitation techniques and attended patient visits with some of the top orthopedic surgeons and physical therapists in the country. He also attended master level classes in the motor learning department at Columbia University in NYC. In his free time, Dr. Rick enjoys weight lifting, martial arts, tennis and spending time with his two daughters, Maia and Ella and wife, Mimi. His philosophy of staying healthy and strong allows him to pursue these sports even after suffering from a knee injury, shoulder strains and a herniated disc many years ago.
