After a torn meniscus and fractured tibia the road back to walking and full use of my knee was made in little steps. Each visit I felt progress was made and PPT supported my level of comfort. PPT found exercises that I could do without pain. I am very satisfied with my time at PPT.

Allison received her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Simmons College in 1993. In 2000, she achieved the status of a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists after completing the Institute of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. She currently is a mentor for IOMT and she specializes in manual physical therapy for patients with orthopedic injuries to the spine and extremities, sports medicine, and wide range of Women’s Health issues including incontinence. During her tenure at Professional Physical Therapy, Allison joined the legal and compliance team and became Certified Health Care Auditor though the American Institute of Healthcare Compliance. As a Compliance Specialist, she assisted with internal audit and medical necessity reviews. Allison has written articles on urinary incontinence, sports medicine for Skating Magazine and the Professional Skaters Magazine and has given lectures on pregnancy and lower back pain, strength training and injury prevention at PSA approved Seminars, USFSA Regional Training Camps, and Colonial Figure Skating Club sponsored seminars. Allison is also a professional figure skating instructor, is a member of US Figure Skating, and North Shore Skating Club. She continues to teach skating to hockey players.

Cara grew up in Framingham, MA and graduated with her Master’s Degree from Boston University in 2000. She has been licensed in massage therapy owning her own practice, has become a certified manual therapist, and is certified in Active Release Techniques. She has worked in many different settings including an inpatient hospital setting , private school setting for children with Autism, outpatient PT clinics, and homecare. She enjoys athletics and pushing herself and her patients to achieve their maximum. Hobbies include coaching lacrosse , hiking, paddleboarding, gardening, and working out.
