About the Clinic
Professional Physical Therapy moved from Saddle Brook to Elwood Park in September 2024, but has been treating patients since 2016 and offering many different types of rehabilitation services to relieve pain and improve function. There is ground level parking and an elevator in the building for easy wheelchair accessibility.
The Elmwood Park clinic offers services to all of our local communities including Elmwood Park, Saddle Brook, Garfield, Fair Lawn, Paterson, Clifton, Woodland Park, Lodi, Rochelle Park, and Maywood.

I had an accident and sustained a fracture of the proximal humerus (shoulder) which required surgical repair. After surgery, I was not able to move my arm away from the side of my body. Since I had always been been an active person and enjoyed weightlifting, I thought life as I knew it would be... over. I was told that the healing process would take a long time and require PT to regain strength and range of motion. I had bad experiences with physical therapists in the past so I was not very hopeful. Tom Kaynak and Jake Grootenboer changed my mind. They listened to my frustrations, fears, complaints and answered all my questions. They're very knowledgeable and caring. I would highly recommend this practice in Saddle Brook, NJ!I had rotator cuff surgery in November 2023. The recovery was difficult and very painful. I started my physical therapy in January 2024. Jake Grootenboer was my PT and he was amazing! I was in a lot of pain, and with Jake’s guidance,... slowly I started to see some progress. He is a great PT, he is very knowledgeable and explains everything in plain language. Besides the surgery, I also had a frozen shoulder that complicated things a little bit. However, in less than 5 months my orthopedic surgeon was very pleased with the results!
