About the Clinic

Professional HT clinic in Farmingdale has been treating patients since 2025 and offers rehabilitation for any problems relative to hands and upper extremity conditions. There are no steps at the entrance to the building; an elevator is available for easy wheelchair accessibility.

Alexandra is a highly skilled and innovative Occupational Therapist specializing in Hand and Upper Extremity Therapy, with over 25 years of experience. She graduated from Touro College School of Health Sciences in 1995 and quickly developed a deep passion for Hand and Orthopedic care. Over the years, Alexandra has focused exclusively on Hand/Upper Extremity therapy, treating a wide range of conditions including post-surgical hand, elbow, and shoulder cases, fractures, tendon repairs, sports injuries, and Carpal Tunnel Release. She is also highly proficient in custom splinting.

Early in her career, Alexandra worked in private practice in Queens alongside some of the top Hand Therapists of the time, gaining exposure to innovative hand surgeons and advanced therapy techniques. In 2002, she returned to Long Island to open her own private practice in Bay Shore, focusing on Hand and Upper Extremity care. In 2017, Alexandra joined Professional Physical Therapy to expand her ability to serve the Long Island community, while continuing to run the Bay Shore office with great success.

Today, Alexandra embarks on a new chapter with the opening of the Farmingdale Hand Therapy location, further extending her reach and commitment to helping patients. She is dedicated to treating the whole person, not just the diagnosis. By designing individualized treatment plans and fostering a motivating, patient-centered environment, Alexandra consistently helps her patients achieve optimal outcomes.
