I have always been surrounded by sports my whole life. I played baseball and soccer until high school when I committed to focusing on soccer. With a combination of 4 years of NCAA D2 soccer at Molloy College and 2 years playing semi pro in Super-Y league, I have a strong player/coach background for the beautiful game. After having hip surgery and being exposed to the world of PT I fell in love immediately and decided to pursue the career immediately. I love what I do, meeting new people of all cultures and backgrounds everyday. Getting my patients back doing the activities they love is my true passion whether that is returning to playing a full 90 minutes of soccer, pitching a 9 inning shutout, or golfing with friends on the weekend.

Unfortunately like many of my colleagues a history of athletic injuries exposed me to the clinical practices of both athletic trainers, strength and conditioning coach's, and physical therapists. This ignited the spark which guided me to becoming a clinician in orthopedic healthcare. After receiving my Bachelors degree from Quinnipiac University and becoming a licensed athletic trainer and receiving my C.S.C.S , I became part of the Professional Physical Therapy team. I began my journey with a group professionals that provided me with a clinical experience that is unprecedented. Whether it was treating alongside Timothy Mauro and his expertise in post-operative Hip Labral repairs or Robert Panariello with his experience in ACL-rehabilitation to just list a couple of the many that influenced me over the years. All of these mentors expanded my knowledge and progressed my understanding of how to approach patient care. The next big step in my career was completing my DPT at NYIT where I expanded my knowledge even further with a focus on manual therapies and clinical evaluation skills. I look to continue to build my clinical knowledge and help as many patients as I can achieve their goals.

I have always been an active individual, playing organized sports all year long and spending as much time outside with friends as possible. At an early age I knew I would need a job that kept me moving. After taking a human anatomy course in high school I became overwhelmingly interested in learning more about the wonders of the human body. This drive to understand how the body functions and my passion for an active lifestyle led me to the physical therapy field. Having experienced many sports injuries over the years opened my eyes to the profound need for physical therapy not only in the sports world but in everyday life as well. I made it my mission to attain my doctoral degree in physical therapy in order to help as many people as I can to live a more active and happier life. In my time at The University of Scranton I learned and adopted the approach of addressing the whole person, not just the injury, in order to optimize patient care. I continue to utilize this approach as a physical therapist through active listening in order to gain a full picture of each patient's situation so that I can combine evidence-based rehabilitation practices with personal factors and goals to tailor my care to the individual.

Having always been involved in sports as a child, I knew that my career would lead me down a path in healthcare. I graduated from Stony Brook University with my Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training and worked as the head Athletic Trainer at Holy Trinity HS. During my time as the ATC at Holy Trinity, I recognized that I wanted to further my career, my education, and my ability to help patients. I graduated from NYIT with my doctoral degree in Physical Therapy. As a physical therapist, I value the time spent with my patients, and working with them to help them to achieve their goals. As a physical therapist, I utilize a combination of therapeutic exercises, functional exercises and manual therapy (massage, joint mobilization and stretching) interventions in order to help my patients achieve their goals. I truly have a passion in helping my patients get better - my goal is my patients' goal!

As a lot of my colleagues my interest in physical therapy started when I was a high school athlete and I hurt my knee in back to back lacrosse seasons that kept from from competing. During undergrad at SUNY Brockport I was a funding member of the barbell club there where I helped people better themselves with one of my passions of powerlifting. I was a strength coach intern during my time at SUNY Brockport and getting to work with all the athletes furthered my passion of working with people that are passionate about what ever sport they hold close to their heart. During my time in PT school at Stony Brook I was fortunate to get to continue to be able to work with high level athletes and getting to learn directly under industry experts such as Mike Reinold, Lenny Macrina, Dave Tilley, Dan Pope and many others. I am still actively training and competing in the 220 pound weight class multiply division of powerlifting and hope to set the world record in that weight class in the near future.
