I really enjoyed the treatment here: a nice vibe, caring professionals, and convenient location. My therapist explained my progress as I went along, which felt empowering.

Riya and the rest of the staff have been truly life changing for me. First helping with a foot injury and now with back problems, I am so grateful to her and to everyone there! Such a friendly and welcoming staff.

Jen is awesome!!! Everyone is very pleasant, the site is spacious and clean. Totally recommend it! Thank you!

I was doubtful physiotherapy would even help my injury, but I was pleasantly surprised that the therapist’s targeted exercises totally fixed my issue and strengthened the whole area, hopefully preventing this sort of injury happening again. Very grateful.

I am so happy I chose Professional PT to address my Achilles tendonitis. I'm grateful for the unwavering commitment, exceptional professionalism, and profound expertise of my physical therapist in managing my specific injury. Attending multiple PT sessions at Professional PT (Grand Central) has been a game-changer for me, especially as a runner who participates in marathons. Dealing with herniated disc, sciatica and pelvic tilt issues was starting to affect my running performance and overall well-being. However, thanks... to the expertise of Riya and Jen, not only has my pain subsided, but the exercises and guidance provided have significantly improved my strength and flexibility, allowing me to perform better during my marathon training. Their support has been invaluable in helping me stay on track with my running goals. The staff's dedication to keeping me on track and ensuring I perform exercises correctly is commendable. I can't thank the entire staff enough for their exceptional care and tailored approach to my needs. I wholeheartedly recommend this clinic to fellow runners and anyone seeking effective physical therapy.read more

The Grand Central Professional PT location is the best! Every employee is knowledgeable and able to assist with any questions that you may have. I’m always greeted with a smile as soon as I walk in (Jaheed is a ray of sunshine). I have been a faithful patient of Riya’s for three months and she has... helped me not only physically, but mentally. I walked in with an injury that I wasn’t sure I had the ability to work through and she’s improved my health so much. The entire group is amazing. I highly recommend seeking help from them if you are in need!read more

Meaghan is an awesome physical therapist. From day one, she knew where all my trigger points were and helped ease my pain. She’s also very knowledgeable, approachable, attentive, and compassionate. She really took the time to understand everything I’m going through, and made a plan to address it... all. Every time I leave a session I feel much better than when I came in. I would recommend Meaghan to others in a heartbeat.read more

I was a patient at another large physical therapy chain in NYC for three months, seeing very little progress and told I would need a cortisol injection. From the week after I began seeing the staff at Professional Physical Therapy I immediately started to see improvement and feel less pain. I went... from barely being able to walk two miles without discomfort to running two miles with very minimal pain! I'm so grateful for their help and personalized approaches to each of their patients. They make recovery fun and easy!read more

I have been treated there for a couple of months after a nasty fracture and surgery on my shoulder. Meaghan is taking great care of me. She is highly knowledgeable and very friendly. She really listens to her patients and constantly fine tune her treatment to fit the condition the best. She is... dedicated to help her patients make quick and significant progress but at the right pace and never too aggressively. Great professional team handling insurance paper work and treatments with a refreshing positive attitude. Highly recommended.read more

They are so gentle and so knowledgeable. Their professionalism and ability to educate you every step they take, and every exercise they show you, is beyond impressive.

Matt Turturro was the definition of an excellent PT. First off, my ankle healed quickly under his care (and it was a severe sprain). It was also clear that he genuinely cared about each person that came in and had such patience with each and every one of my set backs, questions and form. Matt... would be at the top of my list to anyone injured/ in need of PT.read more

Working with Jen has been such a game changer. When I came to her I was experiencing lower back pain on a weekly basis - sometimes the pain was so bad it was hard to do anything but lie down. Over months of working together to get my glutes and core stronger, not only do I not walk up with back... pain but I’m more in tune with my body. I’m more aware of what muscles I should be activating with certain exercises, and know the difference between when I’m using a weight that challenges me vs puts me in at risk of injury. Jen made all that possible and she will definitely be the first person I call for any future injuries.read more

I developed a keen interest in getting into PT when i saw my family members getting better with exercises and modification in lifestyle without popping pills. I went ahead to pursue my degree in India for 4.5 years, where i got 2 research papers published in international journals. I started my journey in the united States by pursing my Masters in PT at University of Pittsburgh in 2019, moved to NY and started working in 2021. Something i love about this profession is the ability to get people back to the life they love with correct form of exercises, correcting muscle dysfunction and how activating the correct group of muscles can get you back rolling. I enjoy treating patients with complicated conditions as it gives me an opportunity to learn and succeed with my program that i make for patients. I enjoy treating patients with vestibular conditions, i have been treating them since i started working and would love to get an advanced certification soon. When im not working I love hiking, working out and painting.
