I shattered my elbow and broke a bone in my forearm back in February. After reconstructive surgery, I could barely move my arm or bend my elbow. My hand swelled up to 2.5X its normal size. I worked with Jane (OT) in the Hartsdale office after my hand surgery. Jane was fantastic! I worked with her for roughly 7 weeks, twice a week. I went in with two very stiff fingers with almost no range of motion and by the time I finished I had almost full range of motion back. We started working... on strength the last few weeks and I’m not back to where I was before the surgery but I feel confident in the tools I was given to continue gaining strength. I was referred to do 4 weeks of occupational therapy here at Professional physical therapy. First thing I noticed was how beautiful this building was and tons of FREE parking ! No worries there. Very clean building as I'm walking up the stairs to the office. Front desk staff seemed very nice except... my last visit when young lady at the front desk pretty much shoved a bill at me before leaving mentally I'm thinking doesn't show my insurance covering at all lol that's another story.
