I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy with experience ranging from practice in the neurosurgical ICU in a large teaching hospital to management of the clinical operations in a private practice and many areas in between. From prevention of injury to rehabilitation in the event of one, PTs serve an integral role in facilitating our patients’ well-being and overall quality of life. To achieve this, I’ve taken on the responsibility to stay updated on research regarding new techniques and involved in the professional association advocating on different levels for my patients. My passion lies in working with the athletes at the youth and high school levels. The dynamic balance between athlete, parent, coach, and healthcare practitioners is at times delicate and one with which I have had good experience. As a former collegiate athlete myself, I’ve always enjoyed following local youth, high school and college sports teams, and feel a personal commitment to the patients I treat, working to understand their challenges both within and beyond the clinic.

A high school knee injury resulted in the need for physical therapy. Through working with compassionate therapists at a sports based outpatient clinic, I soon realized my career path. I have now spent over 6 years providing skilled cared to patients in the outpatient setting and look forward to many more.
