Recently started physical therapy for my frozen shoulder at Professional Physical And Hand Therapy. My therapist, Katrina, is very detailed in her explanation of every exercise. She’s fantastic, professional , and kind. She works with you in a professional and gentle way so that you can understand... and able to do the exercises that are needed for recovery. The place is clean and they are constantly wiping the tables down. They give you exercises you can do at home with login online to strengthen the area that is troublesome. I highly recommend this place.read more

My daughter plays competitive travel soccer and sustained a hamstring pull during the fall season. Professional Physical Therapy (PPT) staff made sure she was on her way back to full fitness with attentive care and a well planned recovery program. The place is clean and spacious, never overcrowded... thanks to an efficient booking system and a great and diligent receptionist (shout out to Yadermi!), and the building is conveniently located right next to public transportation. Everyone here is fantastic, and coming here is actually fun, exciting, and relaxing. Sijia and Terry (thanks, folks!) have done a fantastic job helping my daughter through the various exercises weekly, making sure her form and movements were correct, and increasing the level of strength and challenges whenever appropriate. We came back again to work with them in the winter as my daughter needed rehabilitation and core strengthening, after sustaining a different injury at the groin, and adductor. I would highly recommend this place for your PT needs if you live in the area, right at the corner of Union Turnpike on Queens Blvd. The other physical therapists are also fantastic, but it will all depend on your personal schedule, as they each work on different rotations.read more

They explain each step and are willing to work with the pace and abilitiy of each individual.I would highly recommend... this facility for PT.read more

I had a great experience doing PT at this place for the last 6 months. Rich, the main Physical Therapist creates an extremely welcoming, fun, and restorative environment for patients. His staff are all diligent, caring, knowledgeable and fun to work with, and they are always well staffed. I’ve... done PT here first thing in the mornings and last thing in the evenings, and it’s always a great experience. Rich and the staff really know their stuff, they know how to push for improvement and how/when to ease off a bit. They keep up a friendly, inclusive banter throughout the session. And most importantly, they heal you . If you do what they ask, including home exercises—at least in my experience, it will make a big difference.Highly recommended and this from someone who has a little experience at other PT sites.read more

Professional Physical Therapy in Kew Gardens has become my second home for 11 weeks now. The therapists here are all amazingly wonderful. They are kind, patient and efficient to instruct me to do the exercises to help my problems both in my lumbar spine and cervical spine, as well as reminding me... to keep the correct posture on a daily basis even after the treatment. The most effective part is how they give me the massages. Every time I finish a session I walk home feeling much better. They not only relieve your pain, but also make you feel confident that you can overcome your health issues to enjoy life more.read more

The name of the place could not have described it any better! The staff is so professional but yet so personal at the same time. Rich, the physical therapist is amazing. The physical exam on my first visit was so thorough and expertly done. His knowledge of the human anatomy and physiology was... impressive. The place is very accommodating with visit scheduling, working around my busy schedule. All of the staff at Professional Physical Therapy in Kew Gardens are excellent at what they do. I would recommend this pt office to everyone! I have had the same knee surgery three times and gone to a different place each time, and none of the other places compare. Rich Lenz has been treating my right wrist for the past six weeks, after my wrist had been badly broken and surgically repaired. Rich is the greatest! He is highly skilled and thanks to his techniques and treatment, I notice improvements every day, finding I am able to do more with my right hand... and feeling less pain and less stiffness. Early successes were being able to sign my name and button my shirt, progressing to eating with utensils and typing on the computer with both hands. Even my orthopedic surgeon was impressed with my recovery. All the staff of PPT are knowledgeable and helpful and truly professional!read more

Rich and the others at Professional Kew Gardens are excellent, I never have to wait, we go right to work, I see great improvements, he constantly checks in to make sure it's working for you. All around a perfect PT experience, highly recommended.

I really can’t say enough good things about Professional Physical Therapy, Kew Gardens. I worked with another physical therapy location for 18 months and did not see half the results that I have working with the ProfPT team. The work I’ve done there is targeted towards building strength in muscles... groups that have forgotten how to function. Releasing them from pain loops and most importantly avoiding unnecessary surgeries.Really glad my orthopedist recommended I try them out!read more

The sessions at Professional Physical Therapy were very beneficial. I can duplicate most of the exercises at home to continue my progress.

This is the best PT I even been in . The staff is great and do everything to get you better.

I was pleased with the knowledge of the staff and the attention given to me at Professional Physical Therapy in Kew Gardens, Queens. Thanks to everyone there!
Aimee K.
Having a total knee replacement is a daunting experience. My surgeon at NYU Langone recommended Professional PT. Having had previous experiences with PT groups, this is by far the most experienced, diligent, knowledgeable team of people I have had the privilege of working with. It is comforting to... know that they can assess your degree of mobility and work with you to get you as far as you'll allow yourself to go. Unlike other PTs, they spend quite a bit of time with manipulation rather than leave you to your own devices. 5 stars without any doubt.read more

Johnny Park, my prime therapist, was exceptionally careful, attentive, sensitive and diligent in working me over to improve my balance and walking-a-straight-line ability. Likewise, the cooperating assistants were most helpful in maintaining the therapy activities for the entire session.... All-in-all, a pleasant, congenial and productive experience.read more
