I had a great experience doing PT at this place for the last 6 months. Rich, the main Physical Therapist creates an extremely welcoming, fun, and restorative environment for patients. His staff are all diligent, caring, knowledgeable and fun to work with, and they are always well staffed. I’ve... done PT here first thing in the mornings and last thing in the evenings, and it’s always a great experience. Rich and the staff really know their stuff, they know how to push for improvement and how/when to ease off a bit. They keep up a friendly, inclusive banter throughout the session. And most importantly, they heal you . If you do what they ask, including home exercises—at least in my experience, it will make a big difference.Highly recommended and this from someone who has a little experience at other PT sites.read more

Professional Physical Therapy in Kew Gardens has become my second home for 11 weeks now. The therapists here are all amazingly wonderful. They are kind, patient and efficient to instruct me to do the exercises to help my problems both in my lumbar spine and cervical spine, as well as reminding me... to keep the correct posture on a daily basis even after the treatment. The most effective part is how they give me the massages. Every time I finish a session I walk home feeling much better. They not only relieve your pain, but also make you feel confident that you can overcome your health issues to enjoy life more.read more

The name of the place could not have described it any better! The staff is so professional but yet so personal at the same time. Rich, the physical therapist is amazing. The physical exam on my first visit was so thorough and expertly done. His knowledge of the human anatomy and physiology was... impressive. The place is very accommodating with visit scheduling, working around my busy schedule. I work in Healthcare and refer my patients to them without hesitation because I know the quality of their work first hand. I would recommend this pt office to everyone! I have had the same knee surgery three times and gone to a different place each time, and none of the other places compare. Rich Lenz has been treating my right wrist for the past six weeks, after my wrist had been badly broken and surgically repaired. Rich is the greatest! He is highly skilled and thanks to his techniques and treatment, I notice improvements every day, finding I am able to do more with my right hand... and feeling less pain and less stiffness. Early successes were being able to sign my name and button my shirt, progressing to eating with utensils and typing on the computer with both hands. Even my orthopedic surgeon was impressed with my recovery. All the staff of PPT are knowledgeable and helpful and truly professional!read more

I really can’t say enough good things about Professional Physical Therapy, Kew Gardens. I worked with another physical therapy location for 18 months and did not see half the results that I have working with the ProfPT team. The work I’ve done there is targeted towards building strength in muscles... groups that have forgotten how to function. Releasing them from pain loops and most importantly avoiding unnecessary surgeries.Really glad my orthopedist recommended I try them out!read more

The sessions at Professional Physical Therapy were very beneficial. I can duplicate most of the exercises at home to continue my progress.

I was pleased with the knowledge of the staff and the attention given to me at Professional Physical Therapy in Kew Gardens, Queens. Thanks to everyone there!
Aimee K.
Having a total knee replacement is a daunting experience. My surgeon at NYU Langone recommended Professional PT. Having had previous experiences with PT groups, this is by far the most experienced, diligent, knowledgeable team of people I have had the privilege of working with. It is comforting to... know that they can assess your degree of mobility and work with you to get you as far as you'll allow yourself to go. Unlike other PTs, they spend quite a bit of time with manipulation rather than leave you to your own devices. 5 stars without any doubt.read more

Johnny Park, my prime therapist, was exceptionally careful, attentive, sensitive and diligent in working me over to improve my balance and walking-a-straight-line ability. Likewise, the cooperating assistants were most helpful in maintaining the therapy activities for the entire session.... All-in-all, a pleasant, congenial and productive experience.read more
