I was referred to Professional PT post meniscus surgery and I could not be more happy with the experience I had had. This is an injury that I had after years of collegiate wrestling and weightlifting. Kamon made it a priority to provide the most effective exercises so I can return to the sport... better than ever. Kamon is not a cookie cutter therapist, he does what’s best for the patient and can give you detailed explanations why he is doing those things. Thanks to him I am running again full swing and never felt better. If you’re looking for attention to detail and a professional positive atmosphere, this is your place to go!read more

The staff are very friendly and they are very helpful and ready make you get back to your daily activity. I am very impressed with Jack line and MiG they are very good. May God bless them continue their wonderful job.

I went to Professional Physical Therapy after having ACL and meniscus surgery and worked with Kamon for about a year. The treatment I received was excellent. Kamon is very knowledgable and could easily answer all of my questions. Being a soccer player, he would always try to incorporate aspects of... soccer into my treatment even in the early stages, which I loved. He always knew exactly what to do and always made sure I was prepared before advancing my treatment. He also knew how to keep recovery fun and interesting which was really important to me because it was such a long road. I can confidently say after working with Kamon that I am prepared (physically and mentally) to begin my college soccer career. I would definitely recommend Kamon and Professional Physical Therapy to anyone I know!read more

I have been going for PT on and off for years.I was sent to this facility for an auto accident and wasn't expecting much. Boy, was I surprised. Jaclyn was my therapist and never did I have a more positive experience. She is very hands on, addressed all my issues and was discharged feeling like a... new person. Keep up the good work!read more

Went to Professional Physical Therapy and once again worked with Kamon. I wouldn't go to anyone else. I was a cripple and in terrible pain when I walked in. After getting x-rays & an MRI, my doctor thought my spine was so bad that I'd need a spinal ablation procedure. Not a pleasant thought! ... They did give me a script for some PT.I went to Kamon. Showed him all my film results and he got right to work. He is incredibly knowledgeable and knows how to transmit his knowledge to the patient. He also cares and is so pleasant. He is the consummate professional. He completely knows what he's doing, he cares, and he can transmit his knowledge. You can't beat that and you certainly don't find it very often. After 6 weeks, I no longer need the spinal ablation procedure. I'm walking around & feeling really good.Additionally, the PPT facility in Mahwah is a really nice. Kamon's assistant Scott was also very attentive & a pleasure to work with. Jess, the receptionist, was a pleasure to schedule my appointments with.read more

D1 Athlete with severe patellar tendonitis and partial tear. Couldn’t walk without pain thought my lifting career was just about up. I went to see Kamon here and found there approach completely different from every other place (and there were a lot) I’ve ever tried PT. Heavy focus on functional... movements and building up from nothing. Happy to say I’m back running long distances, lifting heavy (315, 495, 350 bench/deadlift/squat - a humble brag) and competing. Grateful to this place and Kamon for the guidance to recovery.read more

I first went to professional physical therapy with a shoulder injury in 2019, I saw Kamon , he really pushed me and I was back to work in 4 months when I was supposed to be out for 6 months to a year. Few years later, I went back with a pretty serious back injury and once again, saw kamon thanks to... him, I’m back to work with no complications.read more

I don’t even know where to begin about Professional Physical Therapy, and especially therapist Kamon Jaksarn. He absolutely saved my back, legs, wrist, and pretty much any other injury i’ve had. I am a graduating high school senior and without Kamon I don’t think I would’ve been able to continue... playing high school sports (specifically basketball). His knowledge, patience, and genuine kindness made my PT/recovery actually enjoyable. I always felt that he understood how I was feeling, and took the time to listen instead of discounting my feelings. I 11/10 recommend Professional Physical Therapy to everyone, especially younger athletes!!read more

I've been through 2 rounds of physical therapy (two different injuries) at Professional Physical Therapy, both times working with Kamon. I was extremely impressed with him as a therapist. I'm a personal trainer and yoga instructor myself, and have had several negative experiences with physical... therapists where I felt like I knew more than they did (and I certainly shouldn't) and was not confident in their skills. Quite the opposite with Kamon. I was extremely impressed with his knowledge level, his physical skills as a therapist, as well as his continual quest for additional trainings and certifications to advance himself as a therapist. I have recommended him to several of my own clients, and if I were to need therapy again myself I will not hesitate to run right back to Kamon.read more

The last month I recently left Mahwah Professional PT after going there for almost a year from my ACL injury. Being in high school it was definitely hard for me to adjust to the long process I had to go through and there were many times where I became discouraged that I would never be able to play... lacrosse again. With the help of Kamon and Jaclyn, they helped me me get back into even better shape than I was before my injury and provided me with so many exercises and tips to help my “bad knee”, as we call it. Kamon and Jaclyn always made my recovery a fun and enjoyable environment, and I would always look forward to coming to PT throughout the week and telling them all of my funny stories. I cannot thank them enough for helping me recover from what I thought would be the worst thing that’s ever happened to me. I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!!read more

I just finished my third therapy session with Jaclyn Giangrande for a total right knee replacement. I am so happy that I chose Professional Physical Therapy. Jaclyn knows what she is doing and always explains why she is having you do each exercise. We are just beginning, but honestly, I'm... feeling better every day. I feel confident that if I do what she says, I will back in no time.read more

I can say enough good things about the team at the Mahwah location. Gary Shiffman in particular was conscientious, personable, knowledgeable and helpful. You cannot get better treatment anywhere.
Charles K.
The staff at Professional Physical Therapy is top notch and took great care of me. Gary Shiffman started me off on my PT journey with my evaluation and implementation of program as I recovered from full hip replacement. Once My program was in place, Jaclyn Giangrande took over my case and worked... effectively and efficiently on my hip program as well as helping me manage some self-created physical issues related to the hip that set me back. She worked to resolve those issues while continuing the rehabilitation of my hip. The atmosphere was professional and conducive to recovery. The team here also took care of my daughter’s knee reconstruction 4 years ago and got her back to 2nd team all-league basketball and 18th place in the state in javelin her senior year after her junior year basketball injury. Thanks to the PPT team for a great experience.read more

Kamon Jaksarn worked with me after my tendonitis surgery and am happy to say that I graduated yesterday. All I can say is that he was amazing! I am pain free and feel that Kamon gave me the exercises I need to continue my recovery, as well as preventing this from occurring again. Thank you Kamon!!
Matthew B.
Nothing but good things to say about the team here. Kamon came highly recommended and developed an effective program to rehabilitate my knee while taking into consideration my fitness goals for the future. He also provided a wealth of knowledge on the why/how behind each exercise. The facility... itself is clean/hygienic and the staff always accommodating. Kamon is your guy especially for rehabilitating sports related injuries.read more

Professional Physical Therapy (PPT) in Mahwah is a terrific facility for physical therapy services. Gary Shiffman and his team are second to none. Jessica at the front desk is always very friendly and helpful too. There are flexible hours, including early mornings (as early as 7 AM). In... addition, the environment is great with a full range of equipment and good music always playing in the background during your visit. Each visit is personalized with a specific exercise plan tailored to your particular situation that you can take with you and do at home, as well as targeted massage therapy, heat, and ice. I’d recommend PPT in Mahwah to anyone in need of physical therapy services. Thank you.read more

I had an excellent experience. Kamon Jaksarn is an excellent PT. When I was doing exercises, either he or a member of the staff were always available for any help or questions. They also advised me on the correct form. Because of him and the staff, I have made an almost 100% recovery on my back.... The front desk staff were also very welcoming and helpful with any questions. Highly recommend this place.read more

Highly recommend Professional Physical Therapy. Gary and Rich helped me get my broken arm back to good as new! They are both very knowledgeable, caring and know how to motivate you to reach your full potential. After my very painful Shoulder Rotary Cuff Surgery I was in therapy. My Physical therapist Gary is the best in his field. He is patient and kind but yet assertive as needed. I would recommend him to anyone 100 times over and over. I have still yet to finish my therapy but Gary will get me there... assuringly.read more

Gary has been treating my son Trevor since he was a teenager. His professionalism is outstanding and his care for his patients is awesome!!! I wouldn’t have my son be under anyone else’s care except Gary’s!!! He’s the absolute best 😊

The therapists are knowledgeable, caring and patient. They educate you on what you have to work on, how and why. I was fearful going in but completly trust their judgment and how far i can push myself. They genuinely care about your well being. Thank you .

Great staff and they work with you to push you far enough to see results without it being torturous. Very flexible scheduling and just great overall.
