I had a great experience in OT working with Mike at Professional Physical Therapy. He was very knowledgeable, and the staff there in general is very helpful and accommodating. I would definitely recommend.

The therapist treating me is very professional, caring and concerned. She is so helpful in showing and explaining the various tasks I need to perform. She always remarks on my progress and is constantly encouraging me to do well.

Excellent, professional approach to Physical Therapy. Kara is a true professional and has a no nonsense approach to getting you through the protocol. I highly recommend this group.

I saw LJ and Dee for ~6 months due to unexplained hip pain. They not only helped bring me pain relief through their 1:1 work and exercises, but kept me positive when tests were inconclusive and went above and beyond to communicate with my doctor(s). Between the 4-5 of us, we came up with a game... plan to get me totally pain free and it worked! I was thrilled to finally "graduate" PT, but will also miss chatting with them and the staff multiple times a week. They are kind, caring, professional and make going to PT enjoyable instead of feeling like a burden. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.read more

I went to Professional PT in Morristown based on a referral for PT for a significant knee issue. L.J. and Dee who serve as principal therapist are the ultimate tag team. I found them both very thorough in their evaluation, comprehensive in their recommended therapy approaches and support for... each of my visits. I visited 2-3 times per week over 6 weeks and the facility and equipment was easy to access and super helpful for my recovery. Strong recommendation.read more

I went to professional PT for a herniated disc and was in a ton of pain and discomfort. I live in Morristown and took a chance on them since it is so close to me, so it would be easy to get to and from my appointments. LJ and Dee were always so kind and compassionate, and took their time to ask how... I was doing and make sure they were doing whatever they could to support me, and ensure I was taking the right steps to getting better. The aides and office staff are also wonderful and always go above and beyond to help. Though I don’t want to need PT again, if I do I will 100% come back to them.read more

I highly recommend PPT. Head Physical Therapist and Clinical Director, L.J. Travaglia, is highly skilled, personable, very dedicated and shares his PT knowledge openly with his clients. He always goes the extra mile. The team who work with him, including Yanette at the front desk, Shea and Meagan,... who assist with clients and also share their PT knowledge readily, are a friendly and great group of people to be around. I’ve also worked with Dee, who is excellent.I first came to PPT in 2017 when I was plagued with Achilles tendonitis in my right ankle as well as issues with my right shoulder. It took a while because it (the tendonitis) was a chronic problem, but L.J. got me on the path to healing. I still do the exercises on my own but I’m convinced the deep tissue manipulation did the trick, among the several modalities L.J. used, including ultrasound and STEM. Fast forward to Oct 2021– the same problem plagued my left ankle but is worse. I’ve been treated with similar modalities including exercise, hands-on manipulation, etc. It is a slow process but it is healing. Every time L.J. manipulates the Achilles and my excruciating tight left calf, it gets better. He is an excellent therapist, works incredibly hard as does his team. The facility is clean, spacious and has great equipment—everything you would expect from a PT facility. It also has an OT presence with therapists who specialize in hand therapy and probably more. I may need them someday for my trigger finger and Dupuytren’s contracture, but hopefully after the Achilles heals.I would add: To PPT management: I have observed how dedicated and hard L.J. works on behalf of his patients. He does that with a great sense of humor, passion for his work and commitment. A lot of clients (patients) want to use PPT. Be as protective of L.J. — as he is of his clients’ physical healing and well-being.read more

I blew up my knee playing basketball and had a fairly complicated surgery. These guys were incredible, pacing my recovery and getting me stronger so I could get back to regular activity and on the way back to sports soon. LJ is super knowledgable and a great coach, I would recommend him to anyone.

I have had a great experience with Professional Physical Therapy! All of the staff are kind and welcoming and don’t hesitate to help with anything needed. I worked with LJ and Dee during my time at Professional Physical Therapy. I was recovering from an ACL tear that I suffered from playing soccer.Although the recovery process was difficult, Dee and LJ both pushed me to work hard towards a healthy recovery. I’m very thankful for the time and effort... they spent towards getting me back to good health. Both therapists were incredibly knowledgable and always provided extensive answers to all of my ACL recovery related questions. The entire staff was friendly and it made my time spent there that much more enjoyable. The location was always clean and tidy and there was enough equipment to assist with a multitude of recovery types. Sessions were lengthy and structured accordingly to account for the different phases of the recovery process. It was always easy to schedule and re-schedule sessions, and the flexibility of the training staff meant that they could work around my schedule. Here’s to hoping that I won’t need to ever go back, but I can definitely recommend PPT as a great place to assist in a healthy recovery.read more

Suet did a wonderful job with my fractured wrist. She is knowledgeable, energetic, warm and motivating. My surgeon was so pleased with my progress and quick recovery. I couldn’t recommend Suet and her support team more highly. Everyone at Professional PT in Morristown puts their patient’s needs... first — a warm and welcoming environment that produces first rate results.read more

Most PTs I have seen feel like a car repair factory where the goal is to reassemble the parts quickly and get you out. LJ and Dee are 180 degrees different! They gave me thorough and highly individual care and attention over the course of healing my knee injury. Especially recommend for runners in... Morristown and anyone looking to address chronic pain from movement. They addressed the whole chain and gave me a better way to understand the causes of the problem. Thanks for bringing me back to life ProPt!read more

This place is THE best hands down. The therapists are super knowledgeable all while getting the job done. Suet Lim is as thorough as possible and can make a mean brace. Entire staff is very pleasant.

It is an absolute pleasure working with LJ and Dee! I suffered a devastating knee injury and under went 2 surgeries and an unsuccessful round of physical therapy with another PT group prior to working with LJ and Dee at Professional PT. My recovery regimen required me to attend PT 5 days a week,... and from day one they were both fully committed to my recovery and were extremely easy to work with. Though it was a tough injury to recover from I can honestly say LJ and Dee did incredible work and were very personable/professional throughout our time together. I am thrilled with my recovery and beyond grateful for the work they've done, LJ especially. The facility is clean, the staff is friendly, and scheduling is a breeze. I highly recommend using LJ and Dee for your Physical Therapy needs!read more

L.J. (Head physical therapist) & his superbly trained staff, were so helpful to me after I broke my ankle. I went in to physical therapy with a walker & left on my own 2 feet. Thanks for your expertise; I’m better off for it. (Carla L).

I started off my Occupational Therapy journey at Montclair State University, where I received a Bachelors in Exercise Science and played baseball for 4 years. Upon graduating, I worked as an Exercise Physiologist for 2 years at the Matthew J. Morahan Health Assessment center for Athletes. I provided the following concussion testing to youth athletes and adults: ImPact testing, King Devick testing, Balance assessments, Buffalo treadmill/Bike testing, and assisted the Physical therapist with post-concussion treatments. I was also fortunate enough to speak on numerous occasions at the Special Olympics of New Jersey, Rutgers University, and the Prudential Center regarding concussion education to youth athletes, parents, and coaches. I then took my passion for concussions to Graduate School at Wesley College in Dover, Delaware, where I wrote my thesis on correlating the vestibular ocular motor screening and mild traumatic brain injuries in elderly patients following a fall. Since graduating in 2019 with my Masters in Occupational Therapy, I have been with Professional Physical and Hand Therapy specializing in Upper Extremity conditions and working closely with Physical Therapists to utilize my skills with the treatment of concussions.
