First visited Star Pro New Rochelle location at the start of March 2025 following inpatient rehab for lumbar back surgery. Using a walker, and my neighbor driving me, I first met Matthew in administration who patiently explained how insurance works for PT. His mannerism eased my skepticism and i... felt confident that I’d be listened to. Then I met Ryan, assigned as my physical therapist. Ryan listened to me and, amongst his many innate qualities, his professional experience was thoughtful and knowledgeable. With his hands-on guidance and one-on-one attention, my condition has improved and i can walk without the use of walker nor cane. Of course i did the work but only with his qualified instruction. Jacky, the PT manager( who is probably reading this review because he cares for their performance) subbed in for Ryan a few times and was also effective. The rest of the staff, Chris, Danielle and Darshana are also very good in their area of PT and occupational therapy. Their camaraderie is evident and you can feel the positive vibe! I was pleased to return to this facility when PT was prescribed for me again for sciatica. Worked with Ryan exclusively, twice a week for about 8 weeks. Ryan is the lead therapist at that facility for a very good reason. He is knowledgeable, attentive, compassionate and eminently relatable. I was... anticipating that this might be a 3-month enterprise or even more. But Ryan fixed me and I graduated last week.
