My name is Anna Pugliese and I've just experienced 8 weeks of great care in your facility. My physical therapist was Ryan Dishaw and I think he is one of the finest young men I've ever met. He is patient, kind and caring during each session. I am a 75 year old woman and I broke 2 bones in my... shoulder. Please know that you have a very special young man in your employ. I also want to compliment all of the other therapists and the ladies at the front desk. They all work together and help each other and are very kind to the patients.I hope you can let them know how special they are and how good they are at what they do. It's like a family experience.Thank You,Anna Puglieseread more

Bio

Growing up as a dancer, Melanie was always interested in how the body worked and moved. Throughout her years as we became more serious in ballet, she had a knee injury that sent her to PT. She was so moved by the Service provided and the ability to get her back dancing that this began her path to becoming a physical therapist. Melanie attended Frank Sinatra School of the Arts for dance for high school and there she studied kinesiology for a semester as part of the curriculum. After that semester, she solidified her love for understanding how the body moves and made her want to be a PT even more. Melanie attended Ithaca College for the 6 year combined undergrad and graduate DPT program and loved every second of the program. During school, Melanie served as an aide in the queens location of Professional PT. This is where she realized how great this company is. After graduation, Melanie started working for Professional PT and has been with the company every since.

In high school I was involved in many sports including baseball, basketball, karate and was always an active person. In high school I had a couple major injuries that sidelined me and required months of PT. I always admired my PTs dedication to not only me but all patients and how they were able to make a positive difference in these individuals lives and get them back to the things they love doing. I strive to do the same for all individuals that I work with.
