Results! I came to this office twice a week for a couple of months. I was able to reduce my pain & avoid surgery thanks to Anthony. He's a super creative, caring, skilled PT who will stick with you until there's an answer. I'd been to other PTs for the same problem and he's the one who finally... helped me feel better. The front desk staff are friendly and easy to work with too.read more

This review is actually from Joe's wife. My husband used their services and when I broke my femur, he told me this was the place to go for P.T. This facility is scrupulously clean and staffed by real superstars. They put you through your paces, but are very caring. From Cindy, to Tru, to... Dustin, to Nick - each an every one is there to help you. Even the ladies at reception are professional yet so pleasant. My gratitude to all. Madeline Liloreread more

I have been going to the Nutley clinic located on Franklin Ave for four months now. I had surgery done on my L knee ACL and meniscus and go to Professional Physical Therapy for rehabilitation. I work mostly with Dr. Elizabeth Sanatar who is fantastic. After working with her and observing the floor... I am impressed with her impeccable bedside manner. She is well educated and takes time to break down the recovery process answering all questions and always wants what is best for her clients. I always look forward going in there. The clinic is clean, well-organized, and most importantly LGBTQ friendly. I have never had an issue when my partner accompanies me to treatment. We are treated with respect and dignity which has sometimes been an issue for my partner and I at other practices. Her staff also carries the same qualities and values. They are kind, caring, considerate and greet you with a friendly demeanor. This clinic is also flexible and will work with your schedule, it does not matter if you go during the day or at night, they are a solid team. I cannot thank them enough.read more

I was prescribed PT by my doctor and took a chance on Professional Physical Therapy based on options that my insurance accepted and I could not be happier with my results! Dr. Sanatar, Joe, Al, Tom and all the other members of staff at this location were really friendly and professional as well as... knowledgeable. I had therapy for lower back/sciatic issues and at my first appointment I had extreme difficulty moving and walking. Dr. Liz listened to all of my concerns and gave me a very thorough evaluation and talked me through the course of treatment I would receive. It has now been a little over 3 months and I have seen a huge improvement in my mobility and suffer very little pain if any at all. As my sessions progressed, so did the exercises/stretches I was given and on days where maybe I was feeling a little stiff or sore we would adapt my program and then revisit during my next appointment. I have completed my course of therapy now and with the exercises I have learned plus the out-patient exercise program I have been provided I really feel like I have been set up for success. I know that if I ever have any issues I can always go back even without a prescription. During this time of limited social interaction, I have seen the staff here more than my friends and family and I will definitely miss their positive attitudes and friendly conversation! I would 100% recommend this location in Nutley (next to the bakery and carwash).read more

I have to say that everyone at Professional PT has been great. Nick, Jason, Dustin, Jaclyn, Cindy, Bryan, Elna, Christina, True and everyone - they have all made my time feel like I was with friends/family. I am now discharged from therapy but will miss everyone dearly. I will stop by and visit... just to say hello. I would recommend Professional PT to anyone that may need therapy. They are the BEST.read more

I would recommend Nick to anyone that may need therapy. I was referred to him and could not be happier with the treatment I am receiving. He is attentive, friendly and professional with all his patients. It is a pleasure to see how involved and caring he is with all his patients. I am improving... and that is due to Nick.read more

I am very pleased with the all around level of service that I am receiving. Everyone is so very professional, courteous, and friendly. They really try their best to explain what has happened to you and what procedure and precautions they are taking that is beneficial for your recovery. They always... greet you with a very warm welcome, leaving you feeling not just as a client, but like they truly care about you as an individual. Dave and Sindy are the ones who work with me and I am very happy and pleased with them. I have come a very long way from how much pain and how stiff I used to be when I first started. I could not have made a better choice in choosing here for my physical therapy. I just simply love this place and the level of care that I receive. Thank you Dave and Sindy I truly appreciate you both 😊read more

As a three sport athlete through high school and then a division II Softball player, I always had a passion for athletics and the medical

achieve their goals and return to their prior levels of function.

Bio

I have always wanted to help people in a healthcare setting, and after seeing how much therapy helped my family and friends I knew I had found my calling. I volunteered at Children’s Specialized Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ and fell in love with the practice of occupational therapy. I attended Quinnipiac University’s entry-level program in order to earn my Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science and Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy. For my graduate capstone, I researched the efficacy of telehealth hand therapy at the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic and surveyed the patients and clinicians that worked together during this challenging time. Following full-time clinical fieldworks in spinal cord injury rehabilitation, community mental health, and outpatient hand therapy, I became licensed by National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Prior to my time with Professional Hand Therapy, I treated occupational therapy patients in an outpatient setting, and I am now on my path to become a Certified Hand Therapist.
