I work with Physical Therapist Tim Roy. He's surely top of the line. I've worked with him after several surgeries, and he has always been the best. i told him, the doctors may put in the parts, but he makes them work. I don't know what I would have done without his expertise and attention to... detail, and incredible disposition. A nicer, more knowledgeable and committed professional you won't find.read more

I highly recommend Premier Physical Therapy (upper west side). Carly Jacobson did an incredible job of treating my back. She was very knowledgeable, and took the time to carefully explain the mechanics of my injury, describe exactly what each exercise was targeted to achieve, and patiently answer... my many questions. She was always motivating and upbeat, and I really appreciated her enthusiasm, honesty, professionalism and positive attitude. With Carly, I made rapid progress both physically and mentally in terms of how I managed my back pain. I have now recovered my full range of motion and am able to return to my normal activities. More importantly, thanks to Carly, I have the knowledge and tools I need to keep strengthening my back for the rest of my life. The administrative staff at Premier are also really helpful, friendly and competent. In short this is the best overall experience I've had with physical therapy to date.read more

Bio

I first became interested in physical therapy in high school, since I was a dancer for most of my life before college. During this time, I underwent a considerable amount of physical therapy for my own injuries, which led me to my decision to attend college to become a physical therapist. I attended Northeastern University in Boston, MA where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Rehabilitation Science and later my Doctor of Physical Therapy. I really enjoyed school and had great professors. During my last year of graduate school, I completed a total of three clinical rotations. The first two of them were outpatient rotations, one in Boston, MA and one in Rochester, NY. The last clinical I competed was an inpatient setting at a skilled nursing facility in Nashville, TN. After working in different settings, I knew I wanted to work in an outpatient clinic. I recently moved to New York City to pursue my career and continue to learn.
