Hear From Our Patients

Matthew M
I was referred to Professional PT because of a slipped disc in my lower back. My therapist Krina Patel was so down to earth, friendly, and kind. Her treatment plan immediately made me feel more comfortable. During my sessions I never felt rushed. Krina was incredibly patient with me, listened to... all my concerns and was happy to answer any question at any time. I was very impressed by her knowledge and ability to explain things simply. She remained attentive and engaged throughout each session so she knew exactly when to increase my exercises. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her. I'm actually stronger than I was before my injury!read more

The team at Professional Physical Therapy in Princeton was fantastic. Krina Patel in particular was just great. I went in with a long standing wrist injury that I had little hope would improve and was pleasantly surprised to make a full recovery! I attribute this success fully to Krina's expertise... and guidance. They are (indeed!) very professional, thoughtful and competent. I would enthusiastically recommend this practice (and specifically Krina) to anyone in need of physical therapy.read more

I found all the staff at professional physical therapy in Princeton to be empathetic and knowledgable as I went through the physical therapy process. I especially appreciate the work of my physical therapist, Krina Patel who I saw during my visits and who helped me greatly

I want to commend Professional Physical Therapy, Princeton (and Krina Patel in particular) for their care, professionalism, compassion, and hard work. I am a veteran of physical therapy with decades of knee problems, and Krina was among the very best in assessing the situation and coming up with... creative therapies to challenge me and remedy the problem. Despite her pushing me, I looked forward to our sessions. The facility was well cared for and their Covid protocols carefully followed. Appointments were easy to schedule or change if needed. I highly recommend Krina and Professional PT.read more

It was my first time at a physical therapy place and I would definitely recommend this one to anyone. The staff is extremely caring and professional. They take time to talk to you, to figure out exactly what is bothering you and to guide you seamlessly through the whole process. The therapy helped... with my foot and I would definitely choose this place again if I have any other issues. Highly recommend!read more

just finished treatment for back and knee pain— krina was my primary therapist and i did a session or two with dean when she was on vacation. i would highly recommend both, and physical PT in general— everyone I talked to there was friendly and helpful.i’ve done PT 3 or 4 times previously for... other injuries and this was by far the best experience i’ve had.read more

Professional PT is great. Simran is a really kind and helpful physical therapist yet also knew just how much to push me so that I kept growing in my recovery from a shoulder injury. And Ruby at the front desk and everyone else is so nice. It’s an open office, so other patients/physical therapists... can see you struggling through exercises sometimes, but that also adds to a collegial/collaborative atmosphere.read more

My mom had a great experience at the Professional PT in Princeton. The office is very clean and spacious. My mom’s therapist was Krina Patel who is very kind and caring. After the first visit my mom felt better. Krina is very knowledgeable, she patiently explained how to perform every exercise... correctly. After about two weeks doing stretching exercises along with massage, my mom’s headaches stopped. Thank you so much, Krina!read more

I saw Dean for about ~6 weeks at Professional PT to work on a torn bicep. They definitely know what they are doing there. I stuck to my exercises and stretches, visited the recommended number of times a week, and I was healed up in the projected time. The staff is very friendly, and the covid... protocol is great! Everyone wears masks, all equipment is constantly being wiped down with disinfectant, and the PT’s make sure to wash hands in between working on different patients.I hope I don’t injure myself again, but if I do, I will be coming back to professional PT!read more

Nicole of professional physical therapy is a superb physical therapist! I am making head way finally improving range of motion in my neck. I have severe degenerative disc disease + I was a victim of a savage Violence an Assault at an MD's office in Soho New York City where my patient rights and my... body were violated. I endured a running punch to my head so hard it made a hole in my retina, then my hair was grabbed my head was shaking over and over, I was pulled down the hallway by my hair! This was all by an MD's receptionist office mgr not fired or arrested (welcome to unethical NYC) vs I feel safe, kindly treated here at this wonder professional physical therapy office. Nicole is an intelligent and insightful physical therapist; she gave me exercises to do at home including taking a small towel, wrapping it around my neck in a certain way that involves movement that is phenomenal. She follows up with an app for exercises to do at home which I do religiously. I am so grateful to finally see improvement at age 58! I'm almost 59 thanks to excellent physical therapy I feel safe they are the staff all the staff are very nice and helpful!!!! I have PTSD so safe spaces and truly compassionate ethical people in the medical community mean a lot to me after my experience in NY where patient rights mean little to nothing.read more

Bio

I received my bachelor’s degree in Clinical Health Studies and a minor in Exercise Science from Ithaca College in 2017. I continued at Ithaca College to receive my doctorate degree of Physical Therapy in 2019. During my 4 clinical rotations at Ithaca College, I had the opportunity to learn from multiple clinicians with 20+ years of clinical experience in the outpatient physical therapy setting. In looking to expand my experience, knowledge, and clinical skills I continued to my education in 2021-22 with the New York Institute of Technology Professional Physical Therapy Residency Program and now currently studying to become a board-certified Orthopedic Specialist.

Throughout my life I have been involved in athletics (baseball, golf, tennis, soccer, and basketball) both at a competitive and a recreational level. During my time at Ithaca College, I continued my athletic career playing Baseball and Rugby. My personal, educational, and professional experience give me a unique understanding into the rehabilitative process for competitive and recreational athletes a like. I enjoy working with all ages and backgrounds to achieve your goals and help you get back to the things that matter. The rehab process is unique to everyone, and the treatment plan needs to reflect that. My goal is to listen to your concerns going into the rehab process to better guide you through the management of your recovery.

I was diagnosed with Osgood-Schlatter disease when I was 10 years old, I went through physical therapy for my knee pain in highvschool and really enjoyed my physical therapy experience and became interested in pursing a degree in physical therapy. I went tovMontclair State University for Exercise Science while working as an aide at Professional physical therapy. I went to physical therapy school at UNE in 2019 where I did 3 clinical rotations. My first rotation was in acute care at NYU Langone Rusk Rehab. There I worked primarily with patients who were post-op joint surgeries. My second rotation was in an outpatient orthopedic setting at Professional
Physical Therapy in Edison. My last rotation was in Brunswick, Maine working in a home care setting. There I worked with patients who COPD, neurological diseases, active and post COVID, and much more. My interest for outpatient orthopedic grew very strong after my second rotation.
