Great atmosphere, very peaceful. Good equipment with a lot of variety; any problem you have, they’ve got an answer. I made LOTS of improvement with my problem areas in the few months I was going here.Being a bit of a fitness enthusiast myself, (I can curl a dumbell on occasion) I had lots of... questions (understatement) when it came to learning how to best move my body without causing issues for myself. I thought they’d be overwhelmed, but the therapists were more than helpful when it came to answering any questions I had. They provided me with information & advice specific to MY body that I simply would not have been able to find online. They also would actively assist me in correcting my form as I’m doing the exercises. Trust me, just the presence of someone knowledgeable did more for me in a few months than the dozens of articles and videos I’ve scoured the internet for.My body feels great and I’ve left with the tools to keep it that way for the foreseeable future.read more

Great experience so far. Eight weeks post surgery for a rotator cuff repair and still have a long road ahead, but I'm very happy with my therapy. I started seeing Allison via teleconference sessions in May after several severe episodes of back pain that were becoming more frequent over time. We discussed likely causes and agreed it was most likely disc related. I run and have a pretty sedentary job, so some combination of the two activities... led to the pain I was experiencing. Allison did a great job of explaining pain management strategies and a path to improved quality of life. The teleconference option was great and probably one of the reasons I stopped delaying seeing someone. After several weeks and daily exercises I feel my pain is now much more manageable. I also have strategies to help avoid severe pain based on what she taught me.read more

The staff very pleasant and professional, very little wait, too.Chris P. the PT specialist thoroughly evaluated my issue, then all the follow-up sessions seemed right on target w the problem. I was absolutely dreading going to physical therapy! Sam Rosier and the staff here changed that for me! Sam is professional, thorough, and informative. He taught me the mechanics to avoid the pain that I was experiencing with simple every day activities both at home and at work. I found him, as... well as all the staff to be caring, effective, and very knowledgeable! I looked forward to my appointments! From the first phone call Gilda was engaging and competent! I have a very busy schedule and am out of town more often than not. PPT was more than flexible with scheduling my appointments. No matter who you see at this facility you will be in good hands, Sam, Alison, Chris, Justin, Fred, and Sam all make you feel welcome, and will be a great asset towards your recovery! Very Professional and personable. Right from the very start, Chris made me feel welcome and comfortable. After a very thorough assessment of my problem, he tailor-made a PT regimen, which was effective. I fully recovered in 4-weeks. I was initially exposed to Occupational Therapy from a young age in my aunt's pediatric therapy services agency and have pursued my interest in Occupational Therapy since then. I completed my Bachelor's Degree at Stonehill College in Health Science while competing on the collegiate volleyball team. I subsequently earned a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy at Stony Brook University. In my time at Stony Brook University, I researched and presented on direct access and necessity for increased access to Occupational Therapy and went on to present on this topic at the NYSOTA convention. During my Master's Degree program I completed a Level II fieldwork experience at Professional Physical and Hand Therapy, which lead to working for ProPT in NYS in 2021. While working in NYS I have worked closely with various hand surgeons to fabricate custom splints for their patients and allow streamlined access to therapeutic intervention. Recently, I have transferred to Massachusetts where I am practicing at our Newton and Salem Locations. I look forward to growing the Hand Therapy Division of ProPT in Massachusetts.

Bio

I grew up doing sports (track and field, cheerleading) and had my fair share of sports injuries that lead to my introduction to the Physical Therapy world. Growing up I shadowed MDs/ surgeons and knew I wanted to work in the healthcare field. Through my internships in undergrad I enjoyed the rehabilitations process part of health care and being able to spend time with patients long term. After one of my clinicals I spent time with a running specialist at Spaulding and felt very excited about that aspect of physical therapy.
