I loved PT so much that I even asked if I could stay a few weeks extra. I would definitely recommend coming here and the people are all so nice!

Stephanie and the professional PT team are by far the best physical therapists I have ever had. Not only are they professional and well-versed in best practice, they are also warm, kind, and treat you like family. Throughout my challenging recovery, they were vital in encouraging me to push myself... to appropriate limits and supporting me to ensure I stayed on track. I am forever grateful for choosing professional PT!read more

Since I started doing physical therapy at pro sports I had seen results in only two weeks of my three month stay. In the beginning of my stay my knee had been hurting while running and sometimes even walking. However doing fun and consistent workouts helped me get back into my sports with no pain.... As I got stronger I was able to see a complete change in amount of weight and amount of pain. Coming in was not a burden to me but I was excited to get to see Katie or do one of the engaging games. At my time at PT I worked with Katie. She was a supportive and kind and always gave you confidence in anything you did inside of PT as well as outside. She always makes sure you are in no pain and gives you alterations if you are. She always wants to hear about how you are doing and is dedicated to you and your healing. She is able to plan ahead and has experience to know when to take a step up. I am very grateful for Katie and pro sports for helping me heal and get me back into sports with no pain.read more

Everyone here is so nice and welcoming. I have been with them for years now dealing with multiple different injuries and have worked with most of their staff. I have mainly worked with Lauren and Dan and they are both some of the most amazing and caring people I have ever met. Lauren has helped me... get through multiple injuries and always helps me get rid of whatever pain is going on. She is one of the best people I have ever worked with and cannot say enough good things about her. Professional Pt always does an amazing job and I could never thank them enough for helping me get healthy for baseball!read more

I graduated tonight from physical therapy! After only a few months Kaitlyn (“Katie”) has worked wonders on my frozen shoulder. I’m pain-free and my range of motion is better than I ever thought it would be again. I can’t say enough about how wonderful Katie is. She’s a talented therapist and a... delightful and caring person. She was strategic in her therapy plan for me and very supportive. And PPT is great. A small but mighty set up-recommended by my orthopedist-that really delivered. It added to my motivation that it was a warm, friendly, supportive environment. (And safe-everyone is masked, temperatures are checked, and they keep a close eye on things.)read more

I received my Masters in Occupational Therapy at Columbia University where I developed a passion for the specialty area of Hand Therapy. While spending the first years of my career at two major NYC Hospitals, I was able to gain experience with a vast patient population consisting of many different diagnoses. After five years of licensed practice and over 2,000 hours in direct patient contact in an outpatient hand therapy setting, I earned my advanced certification in hand therapy. I have continued to expand my knowledge through continued coursework and staying current with the latest evidence based practice techniques. I am very adept at custom splinting for both protection and treatment of upper extremity conditions. I began working with Professional Hand Therapy in 6/2018 and have since grown the Hand Therapy Practice in Westchester from the ground up and have spearheaded a clinical mentorship program for novice therapists to learn from their more experienced counterparts.
