I had thumb surgery about 3 weeks ago and my first hand therapy appt was yesterday. I worked with Elizabeth and she was wonderful! She made me feel so comfortable and was so gentle with the therapy. She is a wealth of information and certainly knows her stuff. Unfortunately, I live in PA and the... trip is just too hard for me to continue and I'm so disappointed, but she did give me some referrals in PA to look into. I started coming here and working with Bryan after my surgery and I can honestly say I’m going to be so sad when I no longer have to come in! The environment is just so welcoming, friendly, and fun. I feel like Bryan, Britney, and the rest of the team are more than just my occupational therapy... team, they’ve become friends too! After receiving hand therapy for a month and a half I can honestly say that despite the intense pain and deep discomfort I experienced in my hand and arm, Brian always found a way to make me feel relief! My son got a bad fracture above his left wrist. The first orthopedist completed the treatment while he still had the complaints. After changing the orthopedist, the new doctor suggested for occupational therapy for 12 sessions, giving a list of practices. I chose and contacted Professional Physical... Therapy at Somerset, NJ. We found the service very helpful. My son's hand got significantly improved very quickly. After the 9th sessions, the orthopedist told us that he did not need it any more.
