I was treated for pain in the hip and leg. The treatment was outstanding. Employees were friendly and professional. Equipment was clean and in great shape. Treatment was always on time. The treatment worked and cured the pain.

Brian Newcomb has been very professional and knowledgeable aboutmy physical condition. He developed a treatment plan and evaluated my progress while educating me about my condition, offering support and encouragement all along the way. He was able to provide individual care to all his clients... including therapies and activities to do at home to enhance my recovery. I have enjoyed working with Brian and feel that I have benefitted from his expertise and therapyread more

I had a great experience at Professional. After a thorough review of my symptoms and physical workup my therapist tailored a plan for my rehab. Throughout all my appointments I found my PT (Brian) and the entire staff to be knowledgeable, engaged, and pleasant. During my therapy sessions the staff... took time to elicit feedback from me and adjust my regimen as necessary. Any handoffs between therapists was seamless and the team communicated well with me and each other regardless of how busy they might have been. Scheduling requests were no issue, the office staff was excellent. The result was a professional and collegial atmosphere. I was eventually discharged with a detailed home exercise plan to keep my back healthy. I have been in healthcare 45 years and definitely would return here for care. My thanks to the team.read more

This South Yarmouth physical therapy practice is stellar for several reasons. The therapists explain the science behind the methods that they use to address your particular need. They are expert at designing a program using not only equipment but also hands on modalities when called for and are... endlessly encouraging. To top out all off it is the happiest place on earth. The camaraderie and team work is evident immediately.I have had to use physical therapy before over the years but nothing compares.read more

Best P.T I've been to! I've been with this group through a broken foot, sore knee and spinal fusion. This group knows what they're doing. They are always upbeat, cheerful, engaging and supportive. From the front desk day one to my last p.t. visit this week they have been professional and super... helpful. I'm really going to miss going twice a week! I plan on returning in the spring for a tune up! They not only care about the physical but also the emotional affects that a patient is dealing with. The surveys they do every few weeks actually show how well you are improving. I liked seeing my improvement. This group is THE BEST!read more

Not only do they know what they're doing as physical therapist, they all care about the patients. This is my second time needing physical therapy, from two different accidents. I have been very happily working with Professional Physical Therapy in South Yarmouth, Massachusetts for two months and must say upfront that I am truly positively impressed with everything they do. My pleasure and positive impression span many aspects of their operation. First and formost is the... fact that my shoulders, which were giving me serious trouble, have now returned to nearly normal function in all regards. Clearly from the medical performance vantage the therapists are truly excellent, they are professional and know what they are doing. But there is far more to their professionalism. All of the therapists work together to ensure their patients receive continuous attention. If I’m doing something incorrectly any one of the therapists will help me. And the atmosphere in the facility is wonderfully enjoyable. There is a sense of pleasure and satisfaction in what these people are doing. The fact that they get along so well with so much humor while maintaining extremely high professional standards makes visiting as a patient something that I look forward to. To my great surprise, I’m actually disappointed when my session ends. It’s a great deal of fun receiving physical therapy, not something I had anticipated when I first learned that I needed attention.Given the difficult pandemic through which we are suffering I would be remiss if I did not comment on the cleanliness of the facility. I have never seen a therapist sitting idly waiting for a patient to complete a task. Whenever they are not directly communicating with a patient these professionals ”swab the deck.” Surfaces are cleaned, towels and pillowcases are replaced with clean ones and everyone wears a mask. I have never had any concern that COVID-19 might be transmitted in this facility.read more

I had started going to PPT a few months back 2021 while I was on Cape for the summer. I can't say enough about this group of therapists and their staff.I am a RN who had fractured my femur (yes a big ouchie) on July 4th 2020. Emergency surgery, a revision,, hospitalizations, rehab facility and... tons of PT. Home and outpatient. Switched facilities and all. I didn't feel I would ever be able to walk again without being in pain. Then I found this group. THEY LISTENED! Then they set up a plan to strengthen my supporting muscles and within 3 visits I could feel the difference that their program made. Their implementation of machines and strengthening exercises helped me to walk better, but more importantly lose my fear of falling again. Today I am no longer using my cane and have been walking a mile everyday with plans to do more each week. I will join a gym to get the use of machines like the elliptical , total gym etc. Because that's important too.I want you to know one other thing I observed while going to PPT. The entire staff was so kind and caring to their patients, especially the elderly. It was as if they were taking care of family. Wonderful!!!So if you ever need a rehabilitation facility on Cape, the choice is clear.PROFESSIONAL PHYSICAL THERAPY is the BEST !!!Thank you Kristen, Donna, and Brian. Jenn for always greetting me with a smile I could see through the mask 😷 and to the entire staff.YOU ARE ALL AMAZING 👏 ❤ 💋read more

ProPT in Yarmouth is the place to go for all your physical therapy needs! The entire crew is friendly, helpful and accommodating. Most importantly, they also sincerely care about your outcome and getting you better, not just treating you and moving on. I have been going here on and off for 9 years. It use to be PT in motion. And now it Professionals. Everyone there is very friendly and welcoming. I had Christina this time but have had others too. Donna has been there as long as I have been going. They know their stuff and work as a team. They can... be serious and silly too. They make it a pleasant place to rehab for whatever ails you, The main reason I go there is when I leave each session I feel sweaty and tired. I know I got a good workout. I went to Professional PT Yarmouth after surgery and 12 rounds of chemo. I had little to no feeling in the bottom of my feet and lost significant leg strength. I was assigned Christina and started a regiment of exercises, I pushed myself but was always encouraged by the entire staff of Kristin,... Brian and (new girl) Nicole. I could not be happier with how Christina provide a regiment that kept me engaged and feeling stronger. Christina gets six stars! My PT was during the heat of the summer and the AC could use a tune up and some of the warm up equipment could use some updating. But the people at Prof PT make up the difference. I can't finish without giving Bri (spelling ?) a huge shout out. She helps keep everyone moving and motivated. Bio

After graduating from Boston University, I started my career at TIRR/Memorial Hermann treating people with Spinal cord and Brain Injury for 5 years then moved home to Western Mass where I did travel therapy for 1 year. I experienced many settings including Acute care, SNF, homecare and outpatient orthopedics that allowed me to determine my love for outpatient orthopedics and find a great team as part of ProEx Physical Therapy. I completed my fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy from Boston University in 2017. ProEx has since become Professional Physical Therapy, a merger that allowed my husband and I to pursue our dream of moving to the Cape. I now have the great privilege of working with an amazing team as Clinic Director for our South Yarmouth clinic.

Bio

Christina was born and raised on Cape Cod. She attended BU for undergraduate and graduate school where she earned a Bachelor's
degree in Health Science in 2016 and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2019. Christina grew up as a competitive gymnast beginning
at a young age and competing through college. Unfortunately, her gymnastics career was interrupted by injuries, having ACL
reconstruction surgery in 2009 and ankle reconstruction surgery in 2011. It was through rehabbing her knee that she found her love for
physical therapy. While in PT school, Christina did a clinical rotation at Professional Physical Therapy in South Yarmouth and learned about all that the company had to offer. During her first year working she completed the level 1 Orthopedic Manual Therapy program with Martin
Langaas. Through the program she learned advanced manual therapy skilled and worked with many different orthopedic diagnoses.
Christina will be starting a one year FAAOMPT program starting in September. Christina is also a board certified Orthopedic Clinical
Specialist (OCS) and a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Now that she has moved back to Cape Cod, Christina has found her love for sailing. She participates in many races throughout the summer. And, as a former gymnast, she has also discovered her interest in CrossFit. During her time with Professional Physical Therapy she has treated many gymnasts, sailors and CrossFit athletes. Her personal experience, education, and training, give her a unique insight into the special rehabilitative needs of dancers, gymnasts, CrossFit athletes and athletes at all levels.
