I had started going to PPT a few months back 2021 while I was on Cape for the summer. I can't say enough about this group of therapists and their staff.I am a RN who had fractured my femur (yes a big ouchie) on July 4th 2020. Emergency surgery, a revision,, hospitalizations, rehab facility and... tons of PT. Home and outpatient. Switched facilities and all. I didn't feel I would ever be able to walk again without being in pain. Then I found this group. THEY LISTENED! Then they set up a plan to strengthen my supporting muscles and within 3 visits I could feel the difference that their program made. Their implementation of machines and strengthening exercises helped me to walk better, but more importantly lose my fear of falling again. Today I am no longer using my cane and have been walking a mile everyday with plans to do more each week. I will join a gym to get the use of machines like the elliptical , total gym etc. Because that's important too.I want you to know one other thing I observed while going to PPT. The entire staff was so kind and caring to their patients, especially the elderly. It was as if they were taking care of family. Wonderful!!!So if you ever need a rehabilitation facility on Cape, the choice is clear.PROFESSIONAL PHYSICAL THERAPY is the BEST !!!Thank you Kristen, Donna, and Brian. Jenn for always greetting me with a smile I could see through the mask 😷 and to the entire staff.YOU ARE ALL AMAZING 👏 ❤ 💋read more

Thank you, to one and all for my pain free back and fun...Professional Physical Therapy Can't be Beat!!!"Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it." ProPT in Yarmouth is the place to go for all your physical therapy needs! The entire crew is friendly, helpful and accommodating. Most importantly, they also sincerely care about your outcome and getting you better, not just treating you and moving on. Special shoutout to Nicole for going above and... beyond with her treatments and really tailoring them to my exact needs. I didn’t feel like just another case, but instead I felt like I was understood and that gave me all the confidence I needed to get better.read more

I'm Sharon, not Michael. I like all the therapists, especially KRISTEN.She's very good at her trade & also she has a humorous side. That's important to me. I've been to many P.T., Professionl Therapy is by far superior compared to others. The entire staff is professional & very friendly to all.... Kristen does not treat her job as just a"job". She genuinely cares about her patients. I observed that all the P.T. were like this. I'll be back!!! Right now there is too much going on with me & family. Thank you to all at PROFESSIONAL PHYSICAL THERAPY.read more

Knowledgeable and welcoming staff - recommend this location.I started my postoperative PT program at Prof Physical Therapy after getting major back surgery. I was paired with Eleni who I found to be extremely knowledgeable and clearly passionate about her work. I was happy with the cadence of... progression, and whenever she redirected our focus, it felt natural and effective. Above all, I feel the program has been beneficial for my recovery.read more

I have been going here on and off for 9 years. It use to be PT in motion. And now it Professionals. Everyone there is very friendly and welcoming. I had Christina this time but have had others too. Donna has been there as long as I have been going. They know their stuff and work as a team. They can... be serious and silly too. They make it a pleasant place to rehab for whatever ails you, The main reason I go there is when I leave each session I feel sweaty and tired. I know I got a good workout. I never had that at any other PT place. I would highly recommend itread more

I went to Professional PT Yarmouth after surgery and 12 rounds of chemo. I had little to no feeling in the bottom of my feet and lost significant leg strength. I was assigned Christina and started a regiment of exercises, I pushed myself but was always encouraged by the entire staff of Kristin,... Brian and (new girl) Nicole. I could not be happier with how Christina provide a regiment that kept me engaged and feeling stronger. Christina gets six stars! My PT was during the heat of the summer and the AC could use a tune up and some of the warm up equipment could use some updating. But the people at Prof PT make up the difference. I can't finish without giving Bri (spelling ?) a huge shout out. She helps keep everyone moving and motivated. They have gone above and beyond to help with my issues. When a doctor didn’t listen the retested and sent over the reason they thought I needed this doctor. They have been wonderful in not giving up and finding the right exercises to help. My PT is Christina but entire staff is wonderful.

Bio

After graduating from Boston University, I started my career at TIRR/Memorial Hermann treating people with Spinal cord and Brain Injury for 5 years then moved home to Western Mass where I did travel therapy for 1 year. I experienced many settings including Acute care, SNF, homecare and outpatient orthopedics that allowed me to determine my love for outpatient orthopedics and find a great team as part of ProEx Physical Therapy. I completed my fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy from Boston University in 2017. ProEx has since become Professional Physical Therapy, a merger that allowed my husband and I to pursue our dream of moving to the Cape. I now have the great privilege of working with an amazing team as Clinic Director for our South Yarmouth clinic.

I have been a practicing physical therapist for 5 years. I am always looking for opportunities to learn more to provide the best care for my patients. It has been such a privilege to get to know so many fantastic people, both clients and mentors on my journey as a PT, and from them I have grown to adopt a huge respect for the nuanced and individual nature of a person's pain or functional limitations. I love that I have the opportunity to help people change their relationship to pain for the better.

Bio

I was a competitive gymnast growing up and tore my ACL as well as multiple ligaments in my ankle requiring two surgeries. I did pre-operative physical therapy as well as post-operative PT for both surgeries which is where I found my passion for rehabilitation. My passion for physical therapy continues to grow as I continue to learn through my mentors and continuing education courses.
