Fantastic therapists with dozens of years of experience who really know hands (and wrists), having seen it all and then some. I feel that I am getting the best treatment possible and trust my therapist to not only give me her best in session but to send me home with exercises that will help me heal... myself. There is no 'magic pill' after a serious hand injury. Having a collaborative attitude is necessary, along with patience. My therapist has not promised a miracle. She has made it clear that healing happens in tiny increments. Her compassion, and my understanding, has helped me deal with recovering from my severe hand injury. Plus...I am getting better!read more

We went to Professional Physical Therapy on the advice of Doctor Brady who operated on my broken wrist. They made the splint and cleaned the wound every few days. he staff is caring and professional. Everyone who was there when we were there seemed very happy with the therapy. It is awful to be... injured and wonderful to find good support and help in the healing more
Phenomenal they are all very professionall and get you back on your feet in no time. I avoided surgery on shoulder due their amazing therapy. But of course you get out of PT what you put into PT. You have to do the work outside their office to benefit most.

After working in the music industry and radio for ten years I decided to switch careers to a field of helping others. I graduated cum laude from Stony Brook University in 2013 with a Bachelors of Health Science and Masters in occupational therapy. I knew in my first year of Stony Brook that I wanted to specialize in hand therapy. I started my career in skilled nursing. A year later, I was presented with an opportunity to work in hands and I gladly accepted the position. However I have continued to work per diem in skilled nursing for the past 8 years. As a CHT I’m often consulted to assist the geriatric population with various hand diagnoses and asked to fabricate custom splints. I have worked in the Southampton location for the past six years and have developed a strong relationship with locals doctors and members of the community. I love working in a tight knit community that has been so welcoming. After joining Professional I was asked to help start other hand clinic locations such as Sayville and Copiague. I’m a member of ASHT, AOTA, and WFOT. Currently I reside in Sayville. I love to kayak, bike, and spend time outdoors. Travel is my passion and I look forward to combine my love of travel and hand therapy volunteering with organizations such as the Touching Hands Project.
