Professional Physical Therapy in Sparta has been treating patients since 2024 and offers many different types of rehabilitation services to relieve pain. Clinic has a ramped curb in front of entrance for easy wheelchair accessibility, if needed.

Dr. Wallenstein has a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology from Ithaca College, and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Mercy College.  He is a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and has completed a post-doctoral Orthopedic Physical Therapy residency. He has over a decade of experience in sports medicine, health sciences and human performance. He has worked as an Athletic Trainer and Physical Therapist with athletes of all ages and skill levels including middle school, high school, club sports participants, NCAA athletes, Olympic and semi-professional athletes. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainer Association, the American Physical Therapy Association Orthopedic and Geriatric sections, and the Academy of Professions for Health Promotion Therapies. He believes strongly in exercise for wellness, longevity and health and takes a holistic approach towards injury recovery and physical rehabilitation and is passionate about keeping people active through the duration of their recovery. Dr. Wallenstein has been certified in the Clinical Management of the Fitness Athlete and Modern Management of the Older Adult through the Institute of Clinical Excellence. Dr. Wallenstein also has experience in industrial, tactical and emergency medicine from time spent working as a Firefighter/EMT and serving in the United States Marine Corps.
