Liz is amazing. Compassionate. Well-informed. Effective. And Niko, who does reception, is patient and competent and kind. We love these folks. If only we didn't have to get hurt in order to hang out with them!

Dave and his team are unmatched. I’ve been to a multitude of different PT places since I’ve been playing sports for over 25 years and I can say none of them compare. I refer anyone and everyone I can and my whole family goes as needed. I couldn’t recommend this place more!

I found that Gerry explains the what he is trying to accomplish with each exercise he has me do. He also watches carefully to be certain that I am doing them correctly. He and the other therapists present a friendly and helpful atmosphere.

I came to Professional Physical Therapy with a severely herniated disc in my neck that was causing significant neck, back, and arm pain. Right from the start Gerry knew exactly what needed to be done and in just under 2 months of PT, I am pain free and have successfully avoided the need for... surgery. The entire team and the atmosphere at Professional Physical Therapy is fantastic and I would highly recommend them. I will not hesitate to go back to them if/ when I need PT in the more

Superb care from Dave and the entire staff at Professional Physical Therapy at their new Winter Street Location! I began working with Dave when I had a severe slipped disc issue in my Cervical Spine. I was in pretty bad shape and really dispirited by severe symptoms. My doctor specially wanted me... to see a Physical Therapist that specialized in treatment of the cervical spine and Dave was at the top of his list. There was a waiting list to see any physical therapist at the time, but Niko and the folks at the front desk found a way to get me in to see Dave urgently. From my first meeting with Dave, he worked hard to understand my issue, and the impact it had on my professional and athletic life. Dave devised a treatment plan that allowed me to keep working despite my symptoms, while also allowing me to get lasting, and sustaining relief. Because of Dave's specifically tailored treatment plan, I connected some dots and realized how some older injuries had exacerbated and possibly precipitated my new disc issue. I asked Dave if we could integrate treatment of these older injuries into my care. Dave was thrilled to help and went the extra mile to collaborate with me to devise a plan of care. This plan has helped me recover not only from my acute disc issue, but I am now seeing continued and sustained recovery from my older injuries. As a result, I'm exercising and pursuing athletic goals I thought I would never be able to have again. I'm working without pain and at a much higher capacity than I had been even prior to the disc injury... I feel the sky is the limit as far as my recovery. Thank you Dave for all your help in getting me better !read more

Pro PT on Winter Street in Waltham is incredible. Dave Melchiorri is such a stand-up guy, he’s both professional and a blast to work with. He’s an active listener with an incredible memory, and deep knowledge of different branches/practices in physical therapy. He’s warm, welcoming and has a great... sense of humor. The students working there are also very professional, a huge help and fun to talk to (shout out Niko and Jensen!) I truly enjoyed my time working with those guys. The Winter Street location is brand new, clean and even has some patient-gifted greenery at the front to welcome you!Do I want to get hurt again? No. But I know if something happens, or I want to fine tune something, I know I’m in good hands with Dave and Professional Therapy on Winter more

I was introduced to physical therapy in middle school after injuring my leg before a dance showcase. I graduated from UMASS Lowell
in 2019 with a degree in Exercise Physiology before starting graduate school at Boston University. I love connecting with patients over
Boston sports and giving them the tools to overcome their pain experiences in order to help them get back to their fulfilling lives.
