StarPro Physical and Hand Therapy - West 52nd St. NY

I came to StarPro PT because I had a shoulder issue. Admittedly I was not feeling the most positive that PT would make my pain better. But after 3months I started to see results. My PT, Malik is the best!. So naturally when I needed PT for an old knee injury, I went back to Malik. I can do things... i haven't done in years. I would highly recommend Starpro PT. The staff is friendly and the facility is conveniently located. Im on the road to healing and I love it.read more

I hurt my shoulder last December & I started my therapy on my shoulder last January! And I had a wonderful experience at this physical therapy office. The staff were very calm & thorough! The facility is clean, organized, and has a very positive atmosphere. It’s very conducive to healing! Malik... Morris the lead PT is an outstanding therapist—very attentive, skilled, and genuinely invested in his patients’ progress. And his PT Aide- Dylan is outstanding as well! I felt supported throughout my treatment, and the care was excellent. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone needing physical therapy! And thank you to both of them for my continued progress towards healing!read more

Over the last three months I had a truly wonderful experience at StarPro (West 52nd location), and specifically, working with hand and wrist therapist Jeffrey Wong. In terms of the clinic, the PT area is very open and clean, never too crowded, and the staff is super friendly. StarPro was also very... adept at working through insurance requests and follow-ups. Jeffrey Wong has tremendous experience with all things hand/wrist rehab, was always able to answer my questions, and gave just the right amount of encouragement (when I needed it to work harder) vs pushback (when I wanted to move too quickly). He also provided lots of suggestions for at-home equipment and never pushed me to come on-site more than needed. I highly recommend working with Jeffrey whether for pre- or post-surgical needs, or as in my case, just to reduce pain from normal day-to-day activities.read more

I broke my hand pretty badly in July 2025, and without the post-surgery treatment provided by Jeff and Casey, my hand would be in bad shape.Through detailed analysis, personalized treatment, and excellent planning for at-home therapy, my hand is nearly good as new. I could not be more grateful... for the treatment I received from them.Jeff and Casey both treated me as if I was the only patient they had. They never got annoyed with my questions, explained what we were doing to heal my hand (and why), and brought me back to near 100%.I’ve had bad experiences with PTs before (*never* go to Spear, it’s like a factory). At StarPro, they care, and it shows. I would recommend anybody looking for hand therapists to StarPro. You know you will be treated well there, and it really makes a huge difference in post-surgery recovery. Surgeons will tell you you’re healed once the bone is healed, but there’s a lot more important work to get back functionality and mobility. Jeff and Casey were realistic with me, but gave me the confidence to keep working toward full recovery.I’m excited I’m healed but a little sad to leave - thank you guys so much, you really changed my life!read more

The staff at StarPro Physical and Hand Therapy-Westside are very courteous, friendly a professional. They explained things thoroughly and answered any questions that I had. My assigned PT Vidhi explained in detail how the affected area (shoulder) should be moving with a visual model, how it is... working and developed a PT plan. Looking forward to my next session.read more

There are no words to describe how much I adore these folks... They're absolutely incredible. The entire crew at this facility is not only kind and patient... They're also INCREDIBLY knowledgeable, professional, and well-versed in their craft.I've been working with Jeff for several months at... this point, and I don't think I could have possibly made this much progress anywhere else in this city.I've been recommending StarPro (especially this location) to every single person who will give me the time of day... If you're looking for physical therapists, you can stop searching. I've been through physical therapy before, and it was never close to anything resembling this level of care and knowledge. These folks are above and beyond, and I'm incredibly grateful to be their patient!read more

Vi is a fantastic therapist. I came to her after a second ACL surgery with significant scar tissue and limited extension. From day one, she was fully focused on getting me back to full range of motion and eventually back to sports. She strikes the perfect balance between being warm and... approachable, yet firm and demanding when it comes to accountability and follow-through. Vi tailored a wide range of techniques and exercises to what worked best for me, and the results speak for themselves—no more stiffness, even after intense activity. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dedicated and effective PT.read more

I've been seeing Vidhi for hand therapy to manage my arthritis, and I couldn't be happier with the results. She really took the time to understand my pain and created a treatment plan that was tailored to my specific needs. Vidhi is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also super patient and... encouraging throughout the process. Her approach has made a huge difference in reducing my pain and improving my hand mobility. I highly recommend Vidhi-she's amazing at what she does!read more

I started my PT early March 2025 due to hip pain. Vidhi and her assistant Ugo were remarkable with providing the greatest level of physical therapy (especially with this being my first time). They made me feel extremely comfortable and explained all of the details of how each routine helps and our... plans for recovery. Vidhi provided me with take home routines which helped my PT get.evwn easier. My hip feels extremely better and I e made great progress because of the therapy I received. I came to StarPro following rotator cuff repair surgery and a complete bicep tenodesis. I met Vidhi who became my confidant for recovery over the next 4+ months, Vidhi tailored my recovery program perfectly to my surgery and my post recovery goals including my specific line of work. She always... kept therapy interesting and evolving which helped my body bounce back more quickly than either me or my surgeon expected. In fact, my surgeon said my progress was the fastest and most thorough of any of his patients having this particular procedure. I could not more highly recommend StarPro and especially Vidhi at the W 52nd St location in Manhattan. I know I can drop in any time for advice should I have some unforeseen issue moving forward. Truly professional, fun and an expert.read more

Great place for PT, found it based on Google Reviews and I live nearby and felt like I got quality care in a positive environment. I came in this past June, weeks after injuries sustained from being hit by a car that left me with fractures and being unable to walk for a time. I met Sally at my first appointment and by the end of that first session (having arrived with a walker mind you, unable to use my own legs), she advised... me to buy a cane and discard the waker??!! Turned out to be the best thing since that really pushed me to work towards getting my legs back each session.Often, I worked with Jacob, a summer intern, under Sally's guidance, and together they got me walking without aid of cane/walker and then eventually running on the treadmill. And the other exercises and stretches I was taught there to treat the random aches and pains I got from time to time were effective in alleviating me of the discomforts I had. I recently wrapped up 3 months of seeing them, 2 to 3 times a week to treat my injuries and while I am still healing, the exercises I learned from Sally and her staff are proving invaluable to me on a daily basis. Can't recommend this location enough, great experience each visit and effective treatment for a pretty traumatic injury. Thank you!read more

I love StarPro for any and all physical therapy needs. I’ve gone for two separate problems and two separate occasions. About a year ago I worked with Sally for knee pain, stability, and strengthening and more recently I worked with Vidhi for shoulder pain, stability, strengthening. For each issue I... attended for about 8-10 weeks and left with no pain, feeling strong, and with at-home exercises I can continue doing on my own. Both physical therapists are incredibly professional and amazing and I always looked forward to my PT sessions. I highly recommend StarPro and will go back if a need for PT arises in my future :)read more

I had the great fortune to be under the care of Vidhi and Sally after undergoing surgical repair of a complete biceps tendon rupture. They are both highly skilled, compassionate, and conscientious. I came in 6 weeks or so ago with a neck whiplash injury from a rollercoaster. Vidhi treated me during that duration, she was patient, and super helpful. In 6 weeks, I feel no pain, and highly recommend the place. All the therapists I interacted with were super helpful and supportive.

StarPro Physical Therapy has been hands down, the best place I have ever been to for physical therapy. Each therapist is very thorough and attentive to their clients needs and goals. The staff are all super knowledgable and effective in the therapy they provide. There is a vibrant collaborative... spirit among the staff which adds to the effectiveness of the therapy they provide. I was looking at the potential of having surgery. But given the therapy I received I am confident that I will now be avoiding that procedure. The entire practice is professional and efficient in its' operation. The two therapists I worked with the most, Sally and Alex, were simply amazing. I am grateful to both of them for the therapy and guidance they have provided me. If I need to have physical therapy again there is only one place I will go....StarPro.read more

Sally and Alex did a tremendous work for my prehab and rehab for an ACL reconstruction (patellar tendon graft). Bio

Frank first became interested in physical therapy in high school after suffering a baseball-related arm injury. Going through the rehabilitation process sparked his interest in movement, strength, and injury recovery. From there, he developed a passion for fitness and strength training, which eventually led him to pursue a career in physical therapy. Frank earned his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Queens College and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from SUNY Downstate.
One of Frank's favorite parts of being a physical therapist is building relationships with his patients and helping them get back to doing the things they love. Whether it's recovering from an injury, returning to sports, or simply moving with less pain, he enjoys being part of that journey and celebrating those milestones along the way.
Born and raised in Queens, New York, Frank is a lifelong Mets fan and a huge sports enthusiast. He loves watching sports, talking sports, listening to sports talk shows, and somehow finding time to watch the highlights of the same game he already watched the night before. Outside of the clinic, he also enjoys strength training, playing sports and running races.
