Shreyal was a lovely therapist and able to help me recover most of my range of motion in my right shoulder. She was very kind and personable, and the assistants in the office were also so helpful. Since coming in I've learned several exercises to help continue recovery. If I ever need PT in the future I'll definitely come back here and would highly recommend Shreyal to anyone looking for a therapist!
Rachel L.
I broke my wrist a few months back, and I have been working with Sharon at Professional. Sharon has been so encouraging and helpful and has helped me tremendously throughout my healing journey!

I have had two feet surgery (both feet) back in November '20 and May '21. Since the first day I met Richard Geismar at West 92 st. Professional Physical Therapy, I knew I was in great hands and in a safe place. Richard's expertise, professionalism and compassion made my recovery on both feet a great experience. I'm very grateful for his care, he helped me to be able to go back to my busy and athletic self. Everyone at PT is pleasant, super friendly and hands on. The manager at West 92 PT Daniella provides a team of teams through her leadership. Thank you very much for all your services and help!

I have had a shoulder injury for a few years and have been to a few physical therapy places. Unfortunately my injury did not significantly improve until I cam here and worked with Priti. She immediately understood the issue and was able to treat it. After only a few months I feel so much better and can work out and do so many more things. Thank you!

I can't speak more highly of Professional PT, and specifically my physical therapist Preti Shinde. I started therapy after developing achilles tendonitis, and am so happy that I was able to work with Preti - she is excellent at her job and so invested in my health and getting me back to running. She not only focused on my ankle, but on strengthening my running muscles to prevent future injury. I felt like I was in the most capable hands, and am happy to say I feel 100% better and am back to running thanks to Preti.

After my back attacked me, it was Priti and other staff members who gave me an exercise program I could repeat at home. Whether in the very clean and safe PPT studios or at home I was well guided, and improved quickly.

I started therapy after breaking my ankle and have made so much improvement. It is not only due to hard work but the atmosphere is so friendly. It is like a little family. Everyone is so pleasant and it is due to Richard and Nadine. They are the best and they know their stuff. I would recommend Richard to everyone.

Bio

Marissa fell in love with hand therapy roughly 8 years ago. She started out by volunteering at an outpatient clinic on Long Island. Almost immediately she was offered a position as a therapist aide and was there for 3 years. She observed many trauma cases and was fascinated by the recovery process, from the intricate anatomy to the collaboration and trust between patient and therapists. She pursued her clinical rotations in hand therapy and has been in occupational therapy practice since 2020. Marissa also has experience working with geriatric clients both in living facilities and in home care. With her geriatric clients, she spent ample time focusing on postural deformities and osteoarthritis conditions. She believes one of the most important tools to help her clients succeed in therapy is communication and forming a therapist-client relationship. She loves watching the progression of her clients until they ultimately reach their goals. Outside of work, some of Marissa’s favorite things to do are hike, travel, eat different cuisines, and take care of her plants.

As a child I spent a lot of time around my grandparents. Both my grandfathers had neurological disorders that led them to needing PT.
I witnessed numerous sessions with the PT, and watching my grandfathers be able to do things with the PT I had never seen them do
on their own was eye opening and led me on this path to become a PT myself.
