Everyone I interacted with at Professional physical therapy were wonderful. They are all so kind, encouraging, and patient. I worked with Ronnie, Jackie, and Hannah. All were very knowledgable and helpful.
Jake S.
Highly recommend! Amazing staff - super friendly and VERY knowledgeable. I had Bridget for the majority of my 8 weeks and she totally rocks! She did such a great job explaining my injury and potential triggers to avoid, and was always thoughtful in going at a good pace for me and careful as to not... aggravate anything. The 8 weeks I spent in PT here made a world of a difference for me. Can’t recommend PPT Woburn enough!read more

I have been dealing with chronic pain in lower back and neck/shoulder for 10 years. Ronnie helped me understand the underlying issues and weaknesses. He helped me with postural corrections and lots of strengthening exercises. I felt stronger every session and left with motivation to complete my... exercises since I could tell it was working. It has been a few months since starting to work with Ronnie and I have never felt this strong and pain free. Truly life changing to be able to participate in my active job and lifestyle while controlling pain/symptoms of old injuries, thank you!! I will recommend Professional Physical Therapy to everyone I know that is in need!read more

I’ve had an ACL surgery about 3 years ago and have gone through a different place for pt; with their attention to detail and care about the patients pales in comparison to these of Professional Physical therapy in Woburn. I had a bone graft in November of 2023 and had rehab in after and it, I can... say the attention to details and the modifications of exercises to suit my needs and pre-hab for my surgery that I just had, Acl and Meniscus. I can say for certain that it helped my recovery, strength, and mobility a drastically better if I haven’t done it. The team over at the Woburn location is so friendly and helpful; from receptionist to the therapists. I definitely recommend for all needs surgical or not.read more

I have worked with Professional PT in Woburn since August’23 I had knee replacement surgeryI had PT pre and post surgery. They helped strengthen my knee and gave me courage to use my knee prior to surgery. They also answered any questions and were genuinely concerned about my mental well being... going in to surgery.2weeks Post surgery I was stiff , swollen in pain and trying to figure out why I decided to do this to myself right away Shannon was sympathetic guided me through. One of the things I likedIs that you are challenged and pushed to move without feeling that you can’t achieve a goal.I also LOVE that when you walk in every one is just so friendly whether it’s you physical therapist or not. Always being asked how I’m doing and when I achieved a goal like pedalling the bike a full revolution every one is happy for you. I am happy to say I completed my rehab todayI have INCREDIBLE range of motion I walk up and down stairs I just feel really good I am just so grateful to everyone for helping me through this journey making me stronger and abating my fearsI highly recommend this group, this company.R.MacDonaldread more

Very caring staff. Ronnie and Bridget have helped me a great deal. They ask good questions and listen to my unique case and are always adapting my exercises and routine to help me the best way possible. Bridget has even rescheduled her lunch to make room on her schedule for me. Also, thanks Mo for... being so quick to help me whenever the timer goes off :)read more

Professional PT is outstanding. My PT George is the best! He explains every exercise and why it’s going to help. I’ve had ankle pain for 5+ months. At Professional Physical Therapy, they are the best! I started here after a knee reconstructive surgery, which to say the least, hasn’t been easy, but they have helped me every step of the way! Although it has been hard, the people at Professional Physical Therapy are nothing but incredibly kind... and respectful, always going above and beyond. Just them as people have played a big factor in my recovery since they have been tremendously encouraging and supportive. Professional is by far the best PT place I have ever gone to and have tried so many. I always feel welcomed because the whole staff knows you and greets you when you enter the exercise area. Sean and Pete work so well together and always keep a happy atmosphere. I work with Sean as I recover from a... hip replacement but he also helped me identify other issues I am working to add in like lower back and core strengthening. I plan to continue to work with them for many years to come.Of course I can not forget about Amanda the office manager who keeps that place running like a well oiled machine behind the scenes. She is very helpful with making appointments and upfront about insurance coverage the first day. Everyone should find the closest Professional location if you need PT.read more

I grew up in a big family in Woburn, MA where my sisters and I were very active in various high school sports. At least one of us would be injured at any given time. Although I recovered from sports related injuries myself through physical therapy, my love for the profession sparked when I was very young watching the positive impact it had on my grandfather. He received home services following a transtibial amputation. Through his hard work in rehabilitation, I watched him regain his confidence, strength, and independence. This led me to pursue a career as a physical therapist. I began working with Professional PT in 2014 as a rehabilitation aide where I was exposed to treating a wide range of patients. While pursuing my doctoral degree, I participated in community research with Rock Steady Boxing to help those with Parkinson’s Disease. I also had the unique opportunity to work with professional athletes training for the NFL combine during my clinical experience. I enjoy working with people of all ages and abilities. I am passionate about helping people reach their goals, promoting self advocacy, and maximizing function to help them return to doing the things they love. Outside of work, I enjoy baking, skiing, tennis and biking.
