After spending time in the Princeton University training room as an injured undergraduate athlete, I decided on my path to physical therapy. I graduated with a BA in history (with a lot of sciences), lettering 4 years in softball and 1 as a JV field hockey goalie. After a small stint in the advertising world I attended Boston University and graduated from Sargent College of Allied Health in 1993. My professional career found me working at Professional SportsCare for several years until it became HealthSouth in 1996. From there, after serving as administrator of one of the original PSC clinics in East Rutherford, I married Rich Sica, PTA and soon to be OT and we left, opening our own outpatient facility in Waldwick, NJ. Achieve Sportsmedicine served the community from 2000 until 2016 when we merged with Professional Physical Therapy. I now run the Wyckoff, NJ office, which had opened as Achieve in 2006, with the same pride of ownership as the day we started.
