Professional was a proud sponsor of the 16th annual Snow Bowl providing physical therapy services for the Special Olympics flag football tournament. The tournament returned to MetLife Stadium on March 4-6th in East Rutherford, NJ. The three-day tournament gave players the opportunity to play on the same field as the pros while supporting and raising funds for the athletes of Special Olympics New Jersey.
The players came out this year and gave it their all and the level of sportsmanship and competition by all teams was very impressive. The 2022 Snow Bowl was a huge success and Professional Physical Therapy was there every day, offering complimentary stretching and services for all participants. The tournament attracted 120+ teams. We had a great time helping everyone that stopped by to visit us!
Congrats to all the teams and to all the players, fundraisers, donors, volunteers, law enforcement personnel, MetLife Stadium, and everyone else involved! The event raised more than $400,000 to support Special Olympics New Jersey, which is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to provide sports training and athletic competition to children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
It’s always good to remember how important it is for all the players to maintain a consistent stretching routine that focuses on specific muscle groups, to combat tightness and pain after playing flag football or any sport.
