The Professional Athletic Performance Center (PAPC) is a 20,000 square foot state-of-the-art indoor facility, equipped with turf field, 55-meter track, multi-purpose court, and Olympic weight room designed for athletes to improve their agility, speed, strength and conditioning.

Not only is our equipment top-of-the-line, but our coaches and trainers are certified in Strength & Conditioning, and each have a background in injury prevention and care.  Our multi-component programs enhance your natural ability by customizing a Training Program to suit your current performance level and sport of choice.

Our programs are so successful, we offer a free trial session.  Athletes begin training in expert-designed groups based on current athletic ability and projected performance level goals.  We specifically work to optimize skills for particular sports, so each and every athlete gets the maximum utility from his or her time in the program.

Baseline testing and full body assessment

As a new client to our Athletic Performance Center, you may be unsure of which program suits YOUR needs and goals best. Our new Baseline Testing and Full Body Assessment is the perfect start to getting you the results you want!

This Assessment allows one of our Performance Coaches to perform an in-depth evaluation of your current physical capabilities. The program will include an evaluation of your current fitness level, as well as identify any deficiencies or asymmetries.

The Bridge Program is designed for all of our lower-extremity patients who are nearing the end of their Physical Therapy program at Professional, but could benefit from further sports-specific training. Our dual-certified Strength & Conditioning Specialists take you through an exercise program that is designed to transition you from the Physical Therapy clinic back to your sport.

Our Bridge Program includes:

  • Plyometric Training (jumping and landing techniques)

Running Analysis

Analysis of an athlete’s running mechanics can be a valuable tool in the development of Speed, Agility, and Efficiency of Movement, as well as the prevention of future injuries.

Golf Fitness

Professional’s Golf Fitness programs are customized to fit the needs of each individual golfer. Our golfers will start with a detailed Functional Evaluation assessing the body from head to toe. With the aid of DARTFISH™ video analysis, we examine the golf swing to determine functional limitations, and how they affect the golf swing. Based on the results of each evaluation, a customized program is developed to address the identified deficits. Plus, you will also receive a complimentary home exercise program!

Swimmers' Dryland Training

If you’re looking for a serious edge over the competition, our experts will design a custom program specifically for your team. Our Strength & Conditioning professionals work with your coaches to tailor a program specific to your team’s needs, which can be implemented at your facility or ours. This program is built with sport-specificity and position-specific training. This training program offers flexibility in location, and can also be designed to work within the team’s practice and game schedules.

Throwing Analysis

The Throwing Analysis Program is designed for individuals who have begun an interval Throwing Program in their Physical Therapy sessions at Professional, or for individuals who would like their Throwing Mechanics analyzed to help prevent injuries.

With the aid of DARTFISH™ video analysis, each Thrower’s mechanics will be recorded and evaluated for any flexibility, strength, or mechanical deficiencies that may predispose them to injury. The analysis is assessed from three different angles:

Frontal View   Side View   Down the Line (Rear)

Once the throws are recorded, the video will be analyzed and all findings and recommendations will be given to the treating Physician and Therapist, as well as to the patient. The patient will also receive a complimentary DVD. (If applicable, we recommend also reviewing the DVD with your pitching coach.)
