Best PT clinic in NYC - hands down and no comparison (in my humble opinion). I had a knee surgery that was safe to safe one of the hardest recoveries I’ve ever had. However, after 5 months I’m basically 100% with 0 pain and full functionality. I did not expect to receive such individual and specialized attention from Ovadya Pollak, an excellent and caring therapist who was assigned to my case. I just wanted to take time to thank the staff at this StarPro PT. At the beginning of the year, I found myself with a mild knee injury that was impacting my mobility and quality of life.I did seven weeks here with different therapists, primarily Ovie, but had some sessions with Aleksia, and Jeff... depending on my availability. I also had many sessions with their PT assistant, Eric, who was also extremely knowledgeable and patient with me. It’s been about a month and a half since completing PT and I’m back at work and the gym with basically zero pain or discomfort.My primary therapist, Ovie, was so friendly and encouraging. I came to StarPro therapy after a knee injury from running. I started PT early February. I had my intake with the fabulous Aleksia, who was empathetic to my pain, which I really appreciated after seeing doctors that did not take my pain seriously. I went from being unable to walk across my living... room to walking 10k+ steps during a trip to Spain within two weeks! I also worked alongside Erik who was very kind and helpful as he reminded me of the exercises I had to do. I appreciate all the staff here as well as Brian who supported me during my time at this location. The staff all want you to get better and it shows! Even when I found the exercises too difficult, they were willing to adjust to build up to more challenging exercises. When I first came to PT, I felt like the pain was going to last forever but now I can say it is all gone and I am also better equipped to prevent future injuries. By my last day, Aleksia even put together a strength training program for me to continue outside of PT. I would 100% recommend this location to everyone. I began my sessions with Aleksia (and sometimes with Erik as well) five days after receiving a total hip replacement and I give them full credit for my progress since then.
